Ed Rob Menard's FOTL Claims

I think its just got to the point that he just wants attention no matter what.
Even ridicule is better than nothing.
He doesnt get anyone backing him anymore even WFS loons give him a wide berth (maritime reference there ;)) (pigpot excepted it seems)
Its sad that he would want to come here and Ickes and get his argument destroyed time after time.

I think that our subject not only ignores the refutations and outright failures of fotl theories, but fulfilling his need for self-gratification and success, imagines them to be evidence of back handed freeman wins in a battle against “those who would enslave us“.

This belief has no basis in reality, but rather serves to support the narcissistic personality, by making defeat and rejection into victory and acceptance.

Looks like we were wrong and Rob was right all along.
Rob did provide evidence back in 2009 of a FOTL fee schedule getting paid.
I feel such a fool...

That is why a proper fee schedule in place is so important.
You are right, they have guns and can and will arrest. Whether they are right to do so is not the point, they do it anyway.

If you have no docs in place they have claim of colour of right and you have no remedy.

If you do have it in place, you then merely submit under protest and duress, activate your schedule and me nice and peaceful, knowing you are going to collect on your schedule.

A guy in Ontario was stopped by a cop. Cop asked if he was the guy with the COR and doing that reminded the stopped guy of his fee schedule. He thanked the cop and served him a bill for $1000. Cop returned with a cheque for that amount and whole different attitude.

You can cry about what is, or you can create that which you wish.

Rob

Melonclone's reply:
Great post, rob, thanks
Well, I'm convinced:D

Yes that is the most believable thing I've ever read on the internet. That one would almost win a celebratory bowl of cold soup at the liars convention

Yeh, who would believe a cop would have $1000 dollars lying around.:)

i'm sure that this fee schedule thing happens all the time.
1000 bucks to talk to a FOTLer....sounds like a bargain to me....
menard must be filthy rich by now...he will stop charging his $800 fee anytime now, and do it for his love of the concepts involved.

I have just gotten a letter regarding some work clothes from a job 1½ year ago.
It is apparently supposed to be returned at termination of contract , or I will be billed for it.

I were planning on telling them that one pair of pants are likely in a summer house closed for the winter, but judging by the delay in informing me of the requirement to return the clothes it is not urgent and I will look at the issue in the spring.

Maybe a better plan is to inform them of my fee schedule for reading their letter which just happens to be not much above the value of the clothes. :D

Guy produced the documents within the time frame, but as his pride was hurt he told lies on the internet to make himself feel better.

. . .and they aren't even close to believable lies.

It is not usual for the narcissist to tell whoppers like this in self-aggrandizement of their abilities. It starts in childhood with a scared little kid trying to please a hyper-critical adult.

One can envision a fat little fez wearing kid explaining away his lost lunch money and torn shirt as a school yard fight in which he says he beat up six of the seven older kids who attacked him for his lunch money. . . with the really big seventh one getting away at the last minute with his lunch money.

It becomes a sickness when the little fez wearer keeps the behavior up into adulthood and doesn’t seem to mind if others pay $800 a pop for his tales.

Speaking as someone who has worked in law enforcement for 16 years, I have to say (in the USA) the only thing you're going to get from a "fee schedule" is a ticket and/or summons.

Robrob, are you the cop in the story?
Are you just trying to make yourself feel better :D
You should have wrote accepted for value across the bill at a 45 degree angle in green ink.
However that would only have worked if the bill had been on Robin eggshell blue paper :boggled:

In that fee schedule story Rob showed us (well, in his mind) that a fee schedule works.
Why does Rob consider it to be a success?
Because Rob tells us, it was paid.

But, a year passes and Rob has done a U turn.
"No" he explains:

So many people forget that a Fee Schedule is not to get paid at all

[snip]

So if success is determined not by getting paid (that is how a child would see a fee schedule as working) but by stopping others from ordering us about with impunity and without liability, then they work quite well.

Oh oh.
Flip flop.
Menard should take more care before he plays his "child card".

Fee Schedule?

OK forgive the newbie but I for the love of all things unholy have never understood the supposed fee schedule. So I'm a freeman. I have my Notice of Understanding and Intent and Claim of Right and some shiny letter from my MP addressing me Hektor-Arthur: Drambuie because I faxed them 27 letters and they sent me a form letter reply by accident. A cop stops me for some silly statue that I did not consent to. I point to my fee schedule of 20 pounds of gold bullion per minute that s/he detains me. Uh, who makes the cop pay? The cops? by the standards of the fail parade that is C3P0, the cops are corrupt! The law society? They made the conspiracy against the truly free! The judges? They're corrupt too! Oh I forget the whole point is to put the officer on notice, which uh, means something when you actually can't make good on your threat.

... leads him to believe that he deserves automatic compliance with what he thinks the law should be. ...

Our subject needs to exaggerate his achievements to fit his fantasies. ...

I'd say that covers it pretty well!

AFAICT, the FMOTL theology is their fee schedule and police is analogous to garlic and vampires. The cops just circle the FMOTL, hissing in the night.

I reconsidered the whole fee schedule thing.
A nice and friendly phone call to the work clothes department solved the issue. We agreed that after 1½ year that particular outstanding item/account were best written off as left on board.
(Apparently they have been cleaning out the bookkeeping with mass mails here at the end of the year.)

Hmmm...."Ticket":

tick·et

noun /ˈtikit/
tickets, plural

A piece of paper or small card that gives the holder a certain right, esp. to enter a place, travel by public transport, or participate in an event

So, you admit you'd give him a "ticket", which would clearly define that he has a "certain right" to travel!

Summons:

Noun 1. summons - a request to be present; "they came at his bidding"
bidding
invitation - a request (spoken or written) to participate or be present or take part in something; "an invitation to lunch"; "she threw the invitation away"

bidding [ˈbɪdɪŋ]
n

3. the act of making bids, as at an auction or in bridge

Or, you'd invite him to come at your "bidding", which clearly is some sort of auction-based commercial transaction.

Wait - are you asking for a bribe here? :boxedin:

:D

Don't say such things. Clearly, just by thinking of producing a Fee Schedule you freed yourself from society's chains. This obviously came over in your conversation with a still-chained minion who immediately gave in to your demands.

YOU are clearly the success story...
