If they know about it at all. The billboard text assumes that the reader knows their "third skyscraper" meme, even NYCCAN's little push polling exercise awhile back showed that most people do not.

And there so many bizarro political messages out there right now that I doubt anyone would even bat an eye at that monstrosity.

I was thinking about this. When you talk with the Facebook Truthers, they seem quite convinced there's a widespread professional understanding that planes and fires were not enough to bring down the WTC Buildings. Their understanding is that the highly educated understand this and Truthers understand this. It's only the sheeple that constitute the silent majority of Americans beaten into silence with mind control and tyranny who don't understand this. But the dark forces have constructed a system that makes it appear as if the majority can control government with votes. That's why they need to be wakened up with TV ads and billboards and a Ron Paul Revolution.

They're not consistent. Some of their marketing efforts seem designed to educate people about their oh-so-important "third skyscraper." Others, like this one, just assume people the audience knows all their arguments and tries to convince them to take action on them. They can't make up their mind what stage of the product lifecycle they're at.

But this is to be expected from an organization with no centralized leadership, no understanding of basic advertising principles, and no clue.
 
The next email (I'm updating the forum every time they send something) from Remember Building 7 is another plug for "Occupy Building 7".

STILL no mention of the million dollar fundraising campaign.

AE911Truth has removed all banners and links to the campaign from their front page. All they have now is Occypy Building 7 ads. It's clear they are getting no more money, and it's clear they've already given up weeks/months ago. They don't advertise or update anything, and remove all the links, so it's not even remotely possible to get more donations anymore.

So what is Gage going to do with the 70+ thousand dollars he claims they collected?

A prime example even regarding any future campaigns of why not to donate to truthers. As if there was any question about that. :rolleyes:

Do you have a link to that? He was only supposed to be collecting 5%, and the total raised was only about that much.

If he doesn't mention additional contributions on his site perhaps people will forget and won't ask what happened to this money he collected, or why it won't be spent for at least some ads. He's collecting 100% of the money. Will he keep 5% or 100%? (Like the $ 6-8K he collected 2 years ago to buy the software he claims he needed to analyze the collapses. Where's the analyses?) Will the 1437 contributors forget? Will the cabbage be refunded to them if it is not spent on the ads?

Actually alt-tab did the trick, but I was a little frazzled.

Seriously, "remember building 7" ups the ante on stupidity even for the "truth" movement. Let's ignore the 3000 dead people and focus on a building that fell empty and hurt no one. It's almost like a parody of the truth movement.
