Saudi Ambassador attack...thwarted

Another possibility would be that some junior guy in one of the factions organized this on his own, without adult supervision, in order to impress his superiors with his competence. Boy, did that ever backfire...

If this were the case why would Obama, Clinton and other PR clowns be making such a fuss about it?

They have all the super secret inside info that they can't tell us about, remember.

Because it was a potential international terrorist indecent on American soil. Things like that can have big consequences. The assassination of Archduke Ferdinand led to World War 1.

It merely triggered the war. If it hadn´t been that, it would have been something else... maybe Wilhelm II getting an upset tummy from eating spoiled Russian caviar or something.

There is an old Japanese proverb: "The best swordsman in the world does not fear the second-best swordsman; he fears the worst swordsman in the world, because there is no way for him to predict what that fool will do next."

This quote was in a movie. I can't remember what movie it was, but I remember it had a female assassin who used a rubber nipple for a baby bottle as a silencer for her pistol.

Shaking up the Iranian administration to see what falls loose.

I don't know.

So, what the Japanese are saying is, all that time and effort they put into swordsmanship turned out to be a total bust. Better to be completely untrained and unschooled.

So if you´re trying to outsmart smarties likes the CT crowd, you´ve got to be as dumb as you possibly can."

I am being as dumb as I possibly can. But the CT's don't seem to be learning anything. They keep doing the same crap over and over.

I think they´re stupid enough; they´re just not doing it on a big enough scale.

Well, yeah. Small and stupid gets you ground underfoot like a bug. Big and stupid gets you Asia.

OTOH, let us not forget what small, stupid Sparta did to the Persians at Thermopylae when the Persians were big and stupid.

Basically, the world domination game is a crap shoot. Just ask Alice. When she's ten feet tall.

And the Iranians are already losing, and they've barely even started. Which torques Childlike Empress' jaws something awful. I can hear her teeth grinding from here.

The Persians won that battle. ;)

Depends on how you define "won". The way I see it, Sparta won, 20,000 to 300. After that Persian "victory", the Greeks joined forces and went on the offensive against the Persian empire.

First of all, Spartans weren't even the majority of the Greeks at Thermopylae. The Greeks left behind numbered 300 Spartans, 700 Thespians and 400 Thebans. They were a mere speed bump for the Persians, and while the Battle of Thermopylae can be held up as a story of fighting on despite enormous odds it was militarily insignificant.

Or Castro's assasination of JFK

Yeah but Ray McGovern thinks the government is controlled by Jews.

Nope. He knows, like everybody who pays attention, that the right-wing israeli lobby has a huge influence on the political process in the US, and takes this into consideration in his analysis. Equating said lobby with "jews" is a tactic that has worn out in recent years, and you repeating it over and over again doesn't help your crusader cause, "i'm afraid".

It's worse than that. The more this desperate tactic is deployed the more it makes the deployers look like racists themselves.

By continually crying wolf they also undermine genuine efforts to combat racism.

OK, so he thinks a certain group of people control the US government, who happen to be Jews. He's a Truther and regular guest on Alex Jones' PrisonPlanet.

Yeah, credibility = tons.

I agree- but remember who we're dealing with here. To them the above represents "credibility" in it's purest form.

Why call the Israel Lobby right-wing? If there was a Labor government in power the Lobby would be just as supportive as it is now.
