Simple and perfect.
Now it shoud be made even more prefect by building in somehow that Raffaele claims not to have turned off his phone at all.
Probably set it to vibrate.

Steve Moore has a new article up at his blog.
The slander charge will be appealed won't it? So they probably wouldn't fork over money to the self-seeking Patrick Lumumba for a while. Frank Sfarzo suggests that the Supreme Court would do away with that charge.
Perugia Shock:
(The process will anyway be completed at the Supreme Court, which will sweep away that last absurd charge of slander).
I tend to agree with you. The main risk to Knox, should this or any of the other slander verdicts pass the Italian courts' muster, is that she would not only never be able to return to Italy (obviously), but I think she'd have to avoid the countries of the European Union altogether, since I believe they have laws for the reciprocal honoring of legal damages. Now, that may not be important to the large bloc of "Proud Americans," who see no reason to ever visit Europe because everything here in the U.S. of A. is better than everything over there, but I get the feeling Amanda Knox would feel differently (especially if, as I recall was mentioned at one point or another, she was hoping to become a translator).

Ummm...I've been living in Seattle for the past 28 years, and the above is definitely not true. Many people have outfitted their homes with low-water-flow or even compostable toilets, but we flush just as much as anyone else!

Sorry but it is true. I'm not going to have a pissing match with you on thisbut I've been here well before 1983 and the yellow is mellow phrase was/is definitely part of life in Seattle particularly for teaching kids.

Excellent article, however it reminds me that it might have been a better idea to let Amanda be seen more after her return, I'm reading things about her hiding out for six months. I think the better option would have been to let her be seen, I think in the end she will be the best ambassador for her innocence.
In six months a line might be set and her 'guilt' made a political position, I read Bill O'Reilly and Nancy Grace have joined in, that shouldn't be allowed to happen. I suspect it would have been better to nip it in the bud, let people see her so they know what she's actually like.
Personally, especially after seeing Amanda at the press conference, I think by far the best thing for both her and Raffaele would be to spend several months (at least) in private with close friends and family. It must be an absolutely overwhelming experience in any situation to come out of prison after four years, and to take a great deal of readjustment; I can't begin to imagine how much more difficult it would be in the face of massive media attention. I'm glad both families are doing the right thing for their kids and giving them some time and space to begin to recover.
Amanda only speaks for about a minute starting at around 12 minutes in to the video.
Raffaelle might not have turned his phone off. Maybe he switched it to silent.
The only evidence he did switch it off (as far as I'm aware) is that the text from his dad, sent sometime after 11pm did not get 'picked' up by Raffalle's phone until 6am (ish).
However it's not that unusual to not receive SMS until hours later, even when the phone is turned on. Have you never experienced that? I know I have.

Why would someone turn their phones off to commit murder? I have never understood this connection if the better option was to leave them on at Raffaele's. This also implies premeditation, which requires a real motive. So in your mind Amanda planned this all out beforehand? Obviously it wasn't something spontaneous, so to what end did she deliberately go over there to murder Meredith?
I'm thinking that Amanda has a cause of action against both Patrick and his lawyer for what they said about her.
Didn't the court find her not guilty of being a witch?
I really like reading your posts but in this case I really dont understand one thing and this is the main reason i lean more towards the ones that think she is guilty.
You obviously have more experience and knowledge about this case than I have so just explain to me why was she lying and why did she change her story so drasticly.
She wasnt just lying she made up a story about how things happen. This is not just responding to a question in the wrong way because of the momentarily confusion. This is making up a story and you need to think before you do that.
Ok I know she is a young foreigner questioned about strangers and totally scared but I think that people dont make up stories in situations like that they just break down and become desperate.
So why did she make up a story like that, I have my theory but about that in later posts.
This is my first post so excuse my English, its not my native tongue.
