Merged Does CERN prove Einstein wrong?

The past doesn't currently exist as a direct experience because you're not there now. You could say the same for major cities all over the world - they don't exist as a direct experience because you're not there now.

Anders should team up with Jonesboy. Maybe together they can make sense.

The now in Paris is the same now as in Berlin. Einstein was wrong.

Not really. Space is a 3-dimensional, well, space. Space exists as a direct experience. Neither the past nor the future exist as a direct experience.

Stop moving those goal posts, Anders. Your initial objection, that you could not leave the "now", is irrelevant.

I know that it should NOT behave like that in space. That's enough for me.

If, as I said, you don't know HOW it should behave, then you can't say it shouldn't behave as it does. Personally I don't see what's wrong with the video.

Everything as information. Everything. Including the past.

And the future.

"Einstein violated simple logic (many times), common sense,
the basic principles of analytic geometry, vector algebra,
and elementary measurement theory in deriving the transfor-
matin equations at the heart of Special Relativity.

We explicate many of his absurdities.

3. The light direction absurdity.
4. The really strange and marvelous magical gamma absurdity.
5. The amazing transverse gamma absurdity.
6. The time increases as distance decreases absurdity.

8. The data scale degradation absurdity.
9. The absolute simultaneity SR transforms.

If it weren't for all that pesky experimental confirmation . . .

No, screw the experimental confirmation. If Anders (not really Anders, but a bunch of websites he appears to believe unquestionably) says it, it must be true.

If it weren't for all that pesky experimental confirmation . . .

"Albert Michelson, the American who devised the famous failed experiment to detect the ether, the absolute medium that 19th century scientists supposed responsible for the propagation of light waves through space, never accepted relativity. He politely admitted this to Einstein when they met. The Michelson Morley experiment is popularly (and inaccurately) taken to be the inspiration for Einstein’s special relativity."

"Van Flandern was hired to do some consulting work for the physics department at the University of Maryland on the global positioning system (GPS), the ring of 24 satellites circling the Earth, which, among other convenient attributes, will be able to pinpoint precise locations for befuddled automobile drivers anywhere on the planet. According to him, the confusing “rigmarole” of relativity isn’t needed to maintain the GPS, even though it clearly should be."

You might want to go check the frame rate on that.

I have seen several videos before with lunar modules docking. And they all have that impossible motion of instant rotation stops. Maybe some of the later Apollo mission have videos showing more realistic motion, but the videos I have seen have had that kind of incredible motion of the lunar lander.

Big blue text does not a cogent argument make.

Ok, here are just a few of the results:

• The LIGO has never detected a gravitational wave.

• The CDMS project has never detected any observational evidence of dark matter despite years of trying

• A recent study of Quasars shows them to be devoid of all effects of time dilation.

• The cepheid mass discrepancy problem has no solution in the standard model of stars.

• Frame dragging has never been definitively proven despite numerous attempts to look for it using numerous satellites.

"It is often claimed that Einstein's theories of relativity have withstood every test thrown at them. This article attempts to challenge that claim by presenting a list of predictive failures, falsifying observations, and alternative explanations that better agree with the general rule of Occam's razor." -- http://knol.google.com/k/einstein-was-wrong-falsifying-observational-evidence-presented#

Going that low, really? You're being a great conspiracy theorist, Anders!

Going that low, really? You're being a great conspiracy theorist, Anders!

A lot of results contradicting Einstein's relativity are presented. It's simply a presentation of mainstream scientific results that contradict Einstein's theories.
