October is now upon us. And while we work on our awesome Halloween costumes (I call dibs on wailing Wall Street protester girl) it would be good to take some time out and nominate some Stundies.

What is a Stundie? It's a humorous statement that is very wrong. Usually these are related to conspiracy theories but lately we've branched out into general science and logic. Keep them short and sweet if you can.

So go get them and don't forget to provide a link.

Since science includes economics, here is an economics stundie:

Don’t be fooled. The “capitalists” are sucking all of the wealth out of the system as we speak, and they will then turn around and use it to buy up the entire country and run it as a feudal system. The “Road to Serfdom” realized through corporatism, instead of socialism. Big Corp is just as dangerous as Big Gov. The first goal of distributism would be to prevent this mass-purchasing by speculators.

They’re already running around my town buying up all of the foreclosed and short-sale houses, which means they’ll soon own 1/8 of the housing in my town! They buy up these houses and then keep them off of the market to drive up the rents on the others. This is going on RIGHT THIS MINUTE, right here in my town! It’s going on in your town, Learner, in Bubba’s town, in Morticia’s town, everywhere. They’re buying up commodities, land, housing, etc. and nobody’s noticing because we’re all too busy working to find the next meal. There are people who are going to get filthy-rich in this depression and we have to apply brakes or we’ll be calling them Lord soon.

I got on this early by making my JREF username, LordXenu.

So, we have some good ones right off the bat.
