No, for two reasons. The main one is that I think the evidence is a lot clearer now, there have been a lot of things cleared up since the original trial and have shown that RS and AK are probably innocent.

The second is that many of the guilty believers have gone, though not enough to have swayed the poll now to a belief in Guilty.

I think the largest change is in people seeing that the original evidence was not actually worth the paper it was printed on. In one way that is good, as it means that generally there is still a believe that the police get things right most of the time. One the other hand it's not so good, as it shows that the Italian Justice system is in serious trouble.

Unless something unforeseen happens. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, but the judge moved it, and will allow live telecasts. There's conjecture that it was moved to allow Meredith's parents to attend.

My perception is still that a lot of people have a great deal of emotional investment in this trial that I don't fully understand. Perhaps nationalism is playing a big role in the intense focus on this trial.

It's the prosecutor's claim that if the verdict is overturned Knox will return to the USA and he is saying the jury should consider that when coming to their decision. The reasoning is absolutely crazy, if Knox is innocent (or technically I suppose I should say if the guilty verdict is overturned) then why would it be a consideration for the jury what she does when she is not guilty of murder? And it's just as crazy the other way around - if the jury decide not to overturn the guilty verdict then she won't be going anywhere so why should they consider what she will do if found not-guilty?
