And it lacks a Planet X option, too.

I voted no, but want to protest officially against a "on planet x" option.

There was some discussion of this on the other thread, and I remarked that the absence of a Planet X option was interesting because it forced a decision. HumanityBlues said that was actually the point.

I don't think there can be many people who are absolutely sure which way the court will rule (though it's getting plainer by the day), and there are many who believe the defendants are innocent but still have reservations about the verdict because of what happened in the first hearing. So there's a chance a Planet X option would have been the overwhelming favourite, leaving the actual poll at bit of a damp squib.

Even the prosecutor has admitted that Knox is likely to be acquitted. And I certainly concur.

Oh man... I don't know much about the Amanda Knox case but her appeal is one thing I assure you she's not going to lose. She's too hot to be true.
"...we all lose our charms in the end. But square-cut or pear-shaped. These rocks don't lose their shape. Diamonds are a girl's best friend."

Get over yourself.

There is no decision, it's a *********** internet forum poll.

I think I just strained an inferior oblique rolling my eyes at your pretension.

Maybe a touch over wound there Darth? While I agree that a planet X option is essential to every good poll, I think there is a little room left in the world for people that don't agree with this.

I think the just result based on the evidence would be for her to be acquitted, but I wouldn't underestimate the incompetence of the Italian legal system.

It makes me want to be extra cautious when travelling to Italy. Of course, innocent people being convicted and even executed has happened and still happens in the US, too.

Save the extra caution for crossing the road.

Get over yourself, yourself. Of course it's only a meaningless internet poll. The absence of the Planet X option still forces participants to come off the fence, which is interesting. I don't see how pointing that out is pretentious, or deserves that sort of attack.

Or maybe accept the fact that worrying about getting caught up in a murder rap while on holiday in Italy is absurd.

I went to Rome last summer with some friends and the way we managed to escape a "false" murder conviction was not to kill anyone.

Quite simple really

Then I don't get your earlier sarcastic reply.

It wasn't meant to be sarcastic! I've tried to cross the road in Naples! See Naples and die, they say. Frankly, you'll be lucky to stay alive long enough to see anything, the way they drive. One motorbike mounted the pavement in an attempt to get my 85-year-old mother!

The risk of being killed or maimed by a car in Italy is real, and non-trivial. The risk of being falsely accused of murder, not so much. Although "never talk to the cops without a lawyer present" should maybe be engraved on all passports, nonetheless.

Well seems that for those that have been asking, there is a pretty clear 2:1 opinion on this board that there is at least reasonable doubt that Rafaelle was involved.

Do you think you would have seen similar results, say prior to Groundhog Day?
