Amazingly, no one on the pro guilt side claimed that it's innappropriate to sleep during the hearings. We all remember how in the first trial some of the lay judges were sleeping during the hearings. Then, they didn't say anything.

Now, it's the opposite. They are simply amazing.

But the defense sleeping makes one wonder whats really going on in the room.
This seems very unprofessional and insulting to the victims family. imo.

Barbie did not say the defense was asleep, nor did any of the other main tweeters.

A guilter called @DugoutIMAGESM☆Q tweeted that comment to Barbie. Doesn't look like he was in Perugia.

ETA: Is there a reliable source that claims the defense was sleeping?

Raff has hardly been mentioned at all. Part of him must be wishing he didn't have a co-defendant.

I guess he is trying to obfuscate things, there are photos of it showing up during the second search.

Is he saying that "felpa" was not left behind and was taken as evidence in Nov. 1? Firstly, how could he be involved so early in the investigation, Kerchers could not have had time to hire him. Secondly, how could the investigators allow him to enter "secured" crime scene during evidence collection?

Do you know anything about Rudy's blood being on Meredith's sweatshirt? Is it true?
Is that a slip of the tongue, such as what Stefanoni did right before the summer break during the 1st trial?

Rudy's DNA was found on Meredith's sweatshirt. To the best of my knowledge no trace of Rudy's blood was found anywhere in the cottage.

I'm going to ponder out loud here for a moment:
If that was Rudy's blood, along with Meredith's, on the sweatshirt, how did it get there?
From the little cuts on his hand? How did those little cuts get on his hand, from climbing thru Filomena's window or in a knife fight with Meredith before she was stabbed?

Or was it from Rudy getting a bloody nose, like some allege Amanda was supposed to have gotten? Might getting slugged in the face by Mez have been the spark that enraged Rudy enough to stab Meredith really hard? Some of of us have speculated previously that a hard kick to the testicles might have sent Rudy into a rage, one where he then stabbed Meredith...

If there is Rudy's blood on the sweatshirt, it means Rudy was slightly wounded before Meredith was completely undressed. I wonder if Rudy's blood was also on the towels that he fetched to allegedly try and save Meredith after she was stabbed? How come those towels were not stored properly so they could be tested?

And lastly,
if that was indeed Rudy's blood on Meredith's sweatshirt,
how come this has never been brought to light before that little slip of the tongue the other day by Prosecutor Comodi?

The only "felpa" listed in the DNA presentation is Rep 171 and appears to be the same one as in the video of 18 December.

Was Rudy's DNA on the bra? i can't remember.

Yes, Rudy's DNA was found on the back band right where one would grab to try and lift an inert body. But bras are not infinitely strong and when the stiching separates, that band is going to slide through Rudy's fingers leaving DNA on the band and a nasty friction burn/cut on Rudy's hand.

Granted, this is of no help. But turnabout is fair play, I suppose --- I simply cannot imagine an American prosecutor or attorney speaking of a defendant being "an enchantress, a witch with a double soul, half angelic, half diabolical." If you think the defendant is guilty, you line up the forensics and you show the jury that the evidence points to culpability. Not this medeival drivel, it is shameful.

On some level it *is* about us, Dougm. Any civilized person should be profoundly offended by what this grotesque dog and pony show has explained to us about the true state of Italy's culture.

I have no problem with Michelle Moore's comments. I applaud them. This preposterous bastard has been coddled enough, and feared enough; he deserves to hear what civilized persons think of him.

And surely if Hellmann would like to censor Moore or toss her out of the court room for what she said, that is his prerogative. Apparently he has not done so.
