It seems Costagiola rushes through the talking points a bit. I think he really wants to start the weekend today and have a free Saturday.
Costagliola: The questions related to genetics wil be detailed by Comodi. The prosecution re-requests a new expert opinion that was rejected earlier by the court.

TGCOM:
Giovanni Galati (the new chief prosecutor of Perugia) "fully supports" all the points raised by the prosecutors against the new expert report of C&V. It is baseless and lacks evidence.
______________
A brilliant legal mind in action. Makes the same silly request from the same judge that denied this same request at the last hearing. What are the chances his request will be granted?! Zero.

Where is this announced?
Clearly Hellmann will finish this appeal now, but the rejection will be one of the basis for the appeal to the Supremes.

Prosecutor blasts spin making "everyone feel like parents of #amandaknox," urges jurors to imagine feeling like #meredithkercher parents.
I'm really losing my optimism about this trial ending in an acquittal :-(
Even prosecutors are using this cynical and false argument from emotion. If my relative was the one who'd been brutally murdered, I'd want the actual perpetrator caught and punished appropriately.
All the Kercher's anger should be directed primarily at Rudy Guede, who actually committed this awful crime, and secondarily at the police and prosecutors who have allowed Guede a much shorter than deserved sentence, and potentially allowed him an avenue of appeal.
My sympathy for Lumumba ran out months ago, and although I will always feel tremendous sympathy for the Kerchers and their terrible loss, I'm getting to the point where anyone supporting this farce is becoming culpable for its effects.
