uh yes. I've left my phone on and had signal at altitude......and yes phones were DIFFERENT in 2001.

Connection, would depend on lots of things, who your carrier was, cell tower spacing along the the route, altitude at the time, amount of other users at the time and blind chance things like what seat you were in etc.


Now if you can show that someone using the same technology phone, with the same carrier, at the same altitude and the same speed in the same seat at the same time could not possibly have made a connection then we can talk. Good luck doing that.

And don't you think it curious that no-one who would know about such things (like cell phone company employees, airline staff, corporate and light aircraft owners and operators etc) has never come forward and said no they could not have worked? How many more thousands does that add to the conspiracy? If only air phone calls had been made who would have question no cell phones? why add risk to your uber plot for nothing? Unless of course "they" knew that they would work..............Mu ha Ha!

Painting by a guy named Tony Mauro. He's got a website if you want to check out his other works; they're pretty much all women (there's a few guys) who look like they're fully capable of kicking ass while still being sexy. That's why I use them.

Yeah, he tends to paint women in supernatural poses more often; considering that's the type of fiction I prefer, it's understandable why I like him.

The only "ability" that LGR has is the uncanny ability to argue a totally untenable position forever.

Yes...

Here is the summary:

1. I explained to LGR why it is not impossible to make a cellular call at altitude based on the power level reaching the towers and handset at cruising attitudes.

2. I explained to LGR why such connections, although possible, are difficult and explained that it is primarily a NETWORK issue...not a power one.

3. I explained that the FAA and cell phone companies have different reasons why they do not want you using cell phones in planes. For the FAA it's a safety reason, but for the cell phone companies it's because you connecting at that altitude can cause unwanted effects on the Network.

4. LGR did not understand any of the technical arguments or bother to look anything up for himself.

5. LGR ignored the fact that my technical summary is sound and agrees with experts in the industry....both on the internet and folks that I know and have worked with in real life.

6. LGR continues to post useless nonsense despite having been thoroughly debunked and shown to be in error.

7. People get tired of his babbling and start talking about non related issues, like your avatar.

8. I post this summary.

So we have real hijackers (the 19 Al-Qaedas, I assume) PLUS remote control planes (retrofitted by Bushcheney/NWO/Mossad/whoever but presumably not Al-Qaeda), and they're acting independently of each other? They're working together? The inside job conspirators are able to steer the hijackers onto the remote control airliners???

And this is the BEST scenario???

Might be because the Audiovox is a CDMA phone and the Nokia is a TMDA. TMDA was an early digital standard which was a hybrid of both analog and digital technologies.

Neither of the phones used in that experiment were true analog devices, which kinda make his findings pointless.

In theory CDMA should be capable of going further than GSM due to CDMA being a spread spectrum technology that doesn't have the timing issues of GSM.

Of course....to do a real test we would need to use the same cell phones as on 9/11 with the same Network topology flying the exact same route....of course this is not possible and even if it were you would likely get slightly different results each time you ran the test.

No they are not acting independently of each other. Who said that? The real hijackers may not have been AQ at all. Re-read that post, I think you missed some things.

You want to talk about strange scenarios. Ask yourself what 93 was doing near Pittsburgh at all? Why would the hijackers wait so long to take over the plane knowing the other events that would have already taken place.

Nerves? Second thoughts? Worried that since they were late perhaps the others were too, crew were slow to do something they were waiting for (serve coffee to the pilots for example)

(And do you know they would have known?)


all the above seem plausible given human nature. certainly more plausible than any of your woo.
