If the thread is locked Menard will spin it to represent a victory for himself. You know, something like "The RANDIOTS scarpered"
 
People would come and check out the thread, at least the end of it from when he reappeared.
 
Taking away his final platform

I am going to suggest this thread is temporarily locked in order to stop Menard from wasting peoples time with his idiocy.
If he re-appears on the web anywhere plying his trade then I will ask for it to be re-opened or start another.
I know he may try and claim victory, but at the moment he isnt posting anywhere else.

Thoughts please guys
 
I don't think locking the thread is the answer. I'd have to get a new hobby.

Others who aren't so vulnerable and get into the FOTL thing just because they are looking for a way to cheat the system deserve everything they get.

Jlord and solzhenitsyn have the patience to keep engaging FOTLers in discussion. Kudos to them. I don't know how they do it. For my part, I think derision and a demand for evidence are all that the conmen deserve. The victims are probably beyond help.

Im sure it would be quite busy with Robs rhetoric and would concentrate all his nonsense in one place, its very spaced out on this thread.
We could just ignore his nonsense and ask for evidence, Im sure he would recruit a few numpties to try and derail it but we could report any off topic posts.
 
I don't think that locking it is such a good idea. It seems almost akin in my mind to shutting people down, silencing them - basically what the freeman forums do to skeptics. And we shouldn't sink that low. Basically, I think that we should just ignore Menard unless he has something actually new and relevant to say.

I should clarify that I'm not actually a lawyer. I have a law degree and I am a litigator, but I happen to work in a niche area of Canadian law that doesn't require me to be licensed by any law society, so I haven't bothered to sit for the bar.

Does that make me a freeman lawyer?

This thread has been created to allow Rob Menard (freemanmenard) to provide evidence that his Freeman on the Land theories have any validity and can be used successfully to defend yourself in a court of law or free yourself from Statutory Legislation.

I agree to locking this thread.

The proof that Menard is talking rubbish (and getting paid for it) is right here. He's had years to answer his critics, provide the evidence and failed. I don't think that I'm allowed to use the obvious description of him in light of all this, but there can now be absolutely no doubt that Menard is a ...... .

For him this is now just about feeding his ego and I don't see the point in that.
