Palin had side order of Rice before marriage

Why do people even want politicians to give full disclosure of their past personal failings? I don't. Imagine what would happen if politicians actually did that. It would be a giant waste of time, a huge sinkhole into which any discussion of actual policy would vanish without a trace. Do people actually understand what they're asking for? Or do they just ask for it because they know they'll never get it?

Good point.

Let's have a conversation about the sex life of Obama.

Wait....there was none....

Weird.

Until he met Michelle, it was only Sohale Siddiqi and his Pakistani friends at Occidental.

It's common knowledge that there is no cure for jungle fever. Todd needs to be ever vigilant in keeping temptation away from Sarah and an inevitable relapse.;)

When the Grizzly Mama met the Big Black Bear who would have thought that differing species would mate. I am sure that if there had been any hybridized offspring they would have shown a strengthening of some characteristics and a weakening of others. As a polar bear myself I feel left out and rejected and will have to satisfy my curiosity for when the video surfaces.

Reading through this thread, something bothered me.

Well, a couple things, nut mainly the discussion on hypocrisy and how an abstinence-only position it was the justification for the story. And it bothered me because I had a vague memory.

So I went looking. This is the first verification I found, but it quotes a debate in 2008 and that can be verified through other sources.

Palin is pro contraception. She indicated she was against "explicit" sex education, but wanted contraceptives taught. She "had no problem" with abstinence only education, but that was not what she was advocating.

So if she was/is pro contraception, now what?

Beat me to it. You are correct. Resident posters were fooled by a lying liar, and proceeded to discuss some fantasy of "hypocrisy" with no facts. But it fit the narrative, that's all that matters.

To be fair, more than a few of the liberal progressives posting on this thread had problems with THIS narrative...
So if she was/is pro contraception, now what?
Some apologies are in order?

But more commonly, when exposed to such error, the cowards will scurry away only to be found in the next anti-conservative smear thread.

Not that it's relevant to the discussion, but her word salad answer is, well, pure Palin. From your link:

Question: In a recent survey you said that you would support abstinence-until-marriage education but that you would not support explicit sex-ed programs. What are explicit sex-ed programs, and does that include talking about condoms in school?

Palin: No, I don’t think that it includes something that is relatively benign. Explicit means explicit. No, I am pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I’m not anti-contraception. But yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t scare me, so it’s something that I would support also.

And here is what came out the other side of her mouth when she wasn't carrying McCain's water:

Question: Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?

Palin: Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support.

Why do people even want politicians to give full disclosure of their past personal failings? I don't.

Why do people even want politicians to testify under oath about their private consensual sex lives? I don't.
I seriously want politicians to shut the @#$% up about sexual morality or sexual sin. My sex life is none of their business and I don't need their moralizing. It's just a cynical attempt to manipulate and control. Invariably when some political ass does this it turns out they have skeletons in their closet.

It's real simple, I'm going to tell you one more time, keep your views on sex private and I'll help keep your sex life private, deal?
