And please don't say aluminum, those probably should've been melted quite some time ago. I'd say 20 minutes into the blaze, having been heated up by the jet fuel would've been more than enough to make puny aluminum melt, not an hour into the fire and conveniently a short time before the towers fell.
I think it is quite impossible to say what is maxing out the volume there. All we can say it was a sound level above what the microphone could handle at the time. Wind noises do that sometimes, a train passing by at arm's length would do the same, and I figure 110 stories collapsing right next to me would, too. Incidentally, we know that there was a 110 story skyscraper collapsing very close by, but we don't know that there was a train or explosives. So my best guess is that I am hearing a tower collapsing, not explosions.
But there are so many differences, too, are there not? For example timing: You clearly hear these explosions before collapse commences. If you had explosives tearing apart structural steel up on the 75th floor, its sound would travel down the steel columns at the sound of speed in steel and be heard much sooner than the maximum noise of the ensuing collapse.
I'm not just talking about the Lobby, I'm talking about the entire thing. From inside once the collapse gets closer, to the outside also when the 'collapses' get closer.
Uhm, in the video, they are inside all the way!
All the videos actually on the outside are void of the EXTREMELY lout BANGs that you hear on every legit CD video, including the Everglades hotel that you linked to.
I have heard that many of the people who survived the collapse/demolitions of the towers are experiencing health issues which could be related to therm*te explosives, I have not taken it upon myself to research into it though.
No. First off, thermite is not an explosive. Not now, not ever.
Secondly, the issues that people are having is not related to thermite. It's sulfer, lime, and other kinds of horrible chemicals that were in the towers, they they inhaled.
As I personally believe that it would be surprising if they didn't have health issues since there was so much dust and debris. Just thought it may be worth mentioning.
You do realize that many of the FDNY investigators, were forensic crime scene techs, along with the FBI, ATF, and many other state, national, and local LE agencies.
Do you also realize that everything went to Fresh Kills and was sorted, sifted, examined for evidence, body parts, etc. BEFORE it went to the landfill?
or it could be the residue left from the giant amount of.... THERMITE! Is it really that hard to accept? I wonder how long it would take for that stuff to cool off anyways.
You can't have it both ways, Relax; either there was thermite (which, as triforcharity said, would burn out extremely swiftly and leave very visible residue behind), or there were explosives. Which is it?
Now you're disregarding the entire point. I'm fairly certain that he was making an example and that therm*te can indeed get the job done regardless of steel size.
Fine,,,,,,thermite can cut through steel. Now explain how such devices were placed 236 time on each floor to cut through these
without anyone in a building that was occupied 24/7 noticing such devices.
I see a green plant in the video, plant = flammable. plant not set on fire. Jet fuel sticks and burns regardless if marble. You could spill gasoline on marble, light a match, watch it burn and you have black spot, no black spots. lobby = devoid of fire except supposedly the people... me thinks there are tons of firefighters here. Why they no put out people on fire?
First off, steel is not "fire resistant" There are many ways for fire / heat resistance to be layered / encapsulate steel to protect it. Second, yes, a standard office fire can easily create enough heat within 30-45 minutes to cause steel to lose over 70% of its strength. The knowledge has been around for over 100 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Drsgs6-3Qlg
Suppose it was 15 or more carefully selected core columns that were melted and drained into the basements ? The building would still stand fine with a factor of safety of at least three. There might be as much as 12 or 15 thousand tons of molten steel bubbling in the basements. How long would that take to cool in those well insulated conditions ? 99 days or so ?
Please I beg you, compare them to demolition controlled collapses and natural collapses.
If that's the case the entire side should've litten up.
I hear a building collapsing AND explosions, please learn to distinguish the two, you can compare them with natural buildings collapsing, and a demolitioned one.
1) What Cole proved was that you needed a steel tube collar for the thermite to burn inside the steel tube columns, none which were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
2) What Cole proved was that the steel tube thermite containers would have left the telltale suspicious signs of a melted seam at the tube columns, above the column base plates, no signs which were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
3) What Cole proved was that the steel tube thermite containers magnesium initiators needed to be electrically wired in order to fire, and that none of these devices or systems were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
4) What Cole didn’t disprove was that fire alone could have weakened the structure.
5) What Cole proved was that to melt the bolts you needed steel thermite devices for the thermite to melt the bolts inside the steel tube columns, none which were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
6) What Cole proved was that the steel tube thermite bolt melting containers would have left the telltale signs of a melted bolt at the tube columns base plates, no signs which were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
7) What Cole proved was that the bolt melting steel tube thermite containers magnesium initiators needed to be electrically wired in order to fire, and that none of these suspicious devices or systems were found by the forensic engineers or first responders.
8) What Cole proved was that the "explosive thermate" paint chips he mentions were not used in his thermite device.
9) What Cole proved was that his modest thermite devices could not have produced the rivers of "molten steel" he mentions.
10) What Cole didn’t disprove was that the tube columns connecting bolts failed by shear, punch through, bending or tension.
11) What Cole didn’t disprove was that iron microspheres could have been produced by other means.
12) What Cole proved was that his steel thermite devices were not necessary nor were used to cause the collapse of WTC1,2.
You can't have it both ways, Relax; either there was thermite (which, as triforcharity said, would burn out extremely swiftly and leave very visible residue behind), or there were explosives. Which is it?
All you need to do is bring up that Neils Harrit interview in rt ( nee Russia Today ) where he says both thermite and explosives were used. "Tons and tons of explosives" he says. I don't know about you but I imagine him saying this with the same accent the Swedish Chef on the Muppets uses.
Tunnes and tunnes of explosiifes..mork mork mork..
two indisputable facts rule out the wtc controlled demolition fantasy
1. in every other controlled demolition in history very loud kabooms are recorded on videos, in the landmark video even the helicopter sound fails to drown out the booms.
none were heard or recorded on 9-11-01
2. thermite, thermate or super sexy nano nuclear thermite cannot burn sideways, it cannot defy gravity.
It was not a controlled demolition because the insurance companies paid out billions in claims that would not have been valid if there were controlled demolition.
I might possibly be convinced, given sufficient evidence, that secret evil yet unfailingly loyal ninja teams could wire huge buildings overnight with invisible odorless demolition explosives that destroy steel silently with no blast wave while leaving nearby windows intact and leave no trace of themselves or their effects. It is far less likely that any insurance company would pay a nine-figure claim they're not liable for.
Was skimming through and noticed this. You realize that office fires burn much much hotter then jet fuel correct? The jet fuel burned off rather quickly in the initial impacts and served mainly to ignite the office fires. Then in the debris pile, when you factor in insulation and unlimited amounts of fuel for the fires to burn, those fires were capable of melting all sorts of alloys.
I am curious, what do you suppose the firefighters in this photo are looking at?
