TAM10 date & place?

I was thinking as we were leaving that I hope it'll be at a different place in Vegas next year.. then I went to the strip. I couldn't afford to eat anywhere.

Therefore. South Point is good for me!

Well, I think TAM10 should be in Minnesota. Nothing beats it! And bonus, no traveling for me!

I tried to make a similar argument, several years ago, about moving it to somewhere in Westchester, NY. Or, perhaps even New York City. (This was before NECSS started.) But, then I was accused of being selfish and lazy.

So.... I say you're being selfish and lazy!!

Also, no more video. Holograms.

That would attract more manga and anime artists, I suppose.

To control attendance numbers, TAMX should only accept registrations from people who were at TAM2.

How about, in order to get in, they have Randi standing there by a bridge and you approach him and he says "Stop. Who would cross the Bridge of TAM must answer me these questions three, ere the other side he see."

yeah.... so what of it. :p

I'm going to go on record and say that TAMX has been cancelled since no date or venue has been announced for it.

I think we kinda swamped the food options at SP. To feed us, they had to close two of the restaurants. If we add another 3 or 4 hundred people, food will be an issue.

We swamped the food options because we were there at the same time as the BMX, golf, and martial arts groups. I'd hope that if we grew, SP wouldn't book as many other groups simultaneously. And, since SP sold out, they probably couldn't.

P.S. Welcome to the Forum!

I thought it was. Perhaps I'm remembering it from two years ago...
I remember it was TAM7 that Jeff Wagg announced, at the end, that TAM8 would take place in the same place, and he even had the dates ready.

After TAM8, it took a while longer to confirm that South Point was to be used, again, for TAM9. I guess they were examining other options for a time. Or, maybe they didn't have Wagg's excellent negotiating skills to work with. Who knows?!

We can only hope that TAM 10 will come to dominate all of Las Vegas! Every hotel! Every convention center!! It will ALL be ours!!!! The entire city!!!!! Maybe.
