Superconductivity at room temperature??

Yes, this is only the tip of the iceberg. That hacker should be given a Nobel Prize for what he has done for science.
That hacker should be given nothing because he has done nothing for science. Any one who has followed the Climategate fiasco will see that the result of all of the investigations was that everyone was cleared of any scientific wrongdoing.
There were some procedual problems that were pointed out (e.g. non-timely responses to requests for information).

P.S. You may not be aware but randman's opinion should be taken with a grain of salt since he is a creationist and even finds some YEC arguments persuasive. That he finds any credibility in YEC is a sad reflection on his knowledge and analytical skills.

How do you remove the electric-field? By switching off the power supply?
Yes.
Actually by disconnecting it.
If you leave the power supply connected of course the charge-carriers continue through the superconductor, into the normal conductor and stop!

If you do this so that charge-carriers which can be accelerated are not being accelerated any more, the current will stop in its tracks even if there is no scattering of the charge-carriers.
That is so ignorant: History of superconductivity
Onnes conducted an experiment, in 1912, on the usability of superconductivity. Onnes introduced an electrical current into a superconductive ring and removed the battery that generated it. Upon measuring the electrical current, Onnes found that its intensity did not diminish with the time.[2] The current persisted due to the superconductive state of the conductive medium.

Alright, let me explain the latest test that I have devised for my wire:

I cut the cord off a toaster and stripped bare the last few inches of wire. I then attached a ten foot length of my wire to each end, terminating in a fixture for a 15 watt flourescent bulb (equivalent lumens to a 75 watt old-style bulb). I have voltmeters, ammeters, light meters and watt meters. I also have one small, fairly docile dog.

Now, you people tell me exactly what results would be good evidence of superconductivity and I will tell you what results I obtained.

OK, to be serious, I am not sure you have the equipment to make such a determination. From the perspective of ordinary electric circuits, the resistance of a copper wire is negligible and considered to be zero. The kind of measuring devices you seem to have may not be designed to detect the difference between the conductivity of an ordinary copper wire and a superconducting wire in the type of circuit you can devise. FYI, I am not a physicist but do have some working knowledge and experience in the field of electronics, so I could very well be wrong about this.

Good post. I had thought maybe just certain fields of science were corrupted for various reasons such as energy, global warming and evolution. With those, there are specific reasons.
During especially the last three quarters of the 20th century corruption became established as the rule in science, with physics leading all other sciences in this respect. At present physics is the most corrupt science of them all. Why has this happened? During the 19th century the physics community was small and many, if not most, of the physicists were gentlemen with independent means. Although some of them also jeered and insulted other physicists without arguing real physics, just as I have had to endure during the past ten years, and as can be seen on this thread, they did not yet succeed to block manuscripts by means of anonymous, nameless scoundrels. Nonetheless, there has been casualties, like Ludwig Boltzmann who had to suffer under the attacks of the “Energetists” in the same inane manner as I am suffering now under people like Ziggurat, Ben m, so-called “Reality Check” etc. on this thread; and under numerous similar, other second rate physicists which I name in my book.

After the Copenhagen-mafia coerced the physics community to accept their Voodoo interpretation of quantum mechanics, the stage was set. During the second world war, the necessity to have physicists became more clear: e.g. the atom bomb. Thus more physicists were trained and institutes for funding physics research became more. Competition for grant-money became more intense; and the necessity for any grouping of physicists to control a field as soon as possible became an obvious pursuit. If this means ridiculing other ideas and putting knives into the backs of your competitors, so be it. What better way to knife you opposition while remaining anonymous. If the peer review system was really intended to sift good physics from bad physics, then obviously differences in physics should be discussed by gentlemen of integrity who do not need, or want to hide like a criminal behind anonymous masks.

Energy was very early on corrupted by finance and money. A review of Tesla's life is informative in that regard. How is it that the US Supreme court did not award him the patent rights, quite obviously his, for radio and wireless until after his death in the mid-40s as just one example?
Well this is how human beings are and will always be: Self-enrichment, even to the detriment of your fellow human beings, has always been their prime purpose and will always be. If the best option for the future of the world is for a person to close down his/her business, he/she will find irrelevant arguments dressed up as “science”, not to follow the route that is best for all concerned. And the problem is that he/she will always find “useful idiots” to argue for him/her. If it is not in the interest of a grouping of physicists in control of a field to acknowledge that they have been wrong, they will do the same: And as you can see on this thread, the useful idiots are a hand a dozen.
My suspicion is you may be facing obstacles due to your discoveries being related to energy.
In my case it is even worse. The people who are opposing me are physicists who know very well that if I am correct, most of the theoretical physics that have been done since 1927, could be just pure nonsense. Do you think that all those people who are benefiting from the billions of dollars that have been wastefully spent on the Large Hadron Collider, will even consider the possibility that quantum field theory might be just hogwash? No they cannot afford to even contemplate this, since physicists will become the laughing stock of the world: Exactly what they should be at present.
Evolutionism aka Darwinism is understood by the fact it became a sort of pseudo-religion meeting psychological needs for the non-theist and matching prevailing attitudes, of the time when it came into prominence, such as progress, racism, reductionism, etc,....
This should not happen in any discipline whether you argue for Darwinism or for Creationism. These arguments should not be contaminated by any dogmatic beliefs. There are excellent reasons why Darwinism makes a lot of sense, but there also excellent arguments against some aspects of the theory of evolution. Personally I do not care whether I am a product of being created or a product of having descended from an ape. All I am trying to do is to evolve my brain not to reason like an ape, like Ziggurat and Reality Check are still doing on this thread.
Warmism is a similarly pseudo-religious phenomena but also has to do with money and power and a potential great deal of it.
It is a fact that our planet has been slowly warming up during especially the last century: The issue is whether this is just a natural cycle about which we can do nothing, or whether it is primarily caused by human activity of our increasing population on earth. I have not had the time to go into depth on these apposing arguments, and am thus not in a position to decide who is correct and who is wrong. All I know is that I will not blindly follow the self-appointed “experts” who through anonymous peer review distorts the science. Only a fool will blindly only read what the “experts” want him to read: Is that not so Reality Check?
But maybe you are correct. It's just human nature that an anonymous, clubby (closed to but a few) system is inherently flawed.
Unfortunately yes. And this is strong evidence that we did descend from apes and are doomed if we do not evolve further very quickly. The surest way to ensure that we will not make it on planet earth is to get stuck within “expert accepted” dogma; which is the route advocated by people like Reality Check.

OK, to be serious, I am not sure you have the equipment to make such a determination. From the perspective of ordinary electric circuits, the resistance of a copper wire is negligible and considered to be zero. Would it help if I measured the wire in meters rather than feet?

Refer to QM texbooks. It is often eft as an exercise for the student.
Or: Covariant Form and Relativistic Invariance
You are really a boring person who can only quote since you do not have enough knowledge to argue on your own. I know all this mathematics better than you do. But I have always disagreed with Dirac’s statement that one should first get the mathematics right and only then seek for the physics that it models. This is pure BS.
Thus the Dirac equation has inertial reference frames. In each frame the electron momentum is different. Thus in each frame there is a different de Broglie wavelength for the electron w.r.t another frame.
I asked you to prove this: What you gave is NOT a proof that this is so. Solve the Dirac equation within an inertial reference frame, then transform the solution into another inertial refrence frame using the Lorentz transformation, and then derive the change in the de Broglie wavelength.
In fact this is true for non-relativistic QM. The difference is that the observed momentum is relativistic for the Dirac equation.
Prove it. Solve in one inertial reference frame for the momentum and then derive this momentum within another inertial reference frame by doing a Lorentz transformation.
Wrong:
[*]Diffraction of electrons proves that electrons can act as waves.
And in order to diffract when they move with a momentum p relative to a diffraction apparatus, it must be a coherent wave, with wave-fronts that move WITHIN three-dimensional space. And it must thus be a coherent wave within ALL inertial reference frames relative to which it is moving: Since it is moving with different momentums within different inertial reference frames, it must have different wavelengths within the different inertial reference frames. Dirac’s equation cannot be Lorentz transformed to render these different values for the wavelengths.
[*]They can also act as particles.
I am asking you again to define what a particle is. If you claim that it is an entity with mass whose centre-of-mass moves like a point-particle (whatever this term means), it does not exclude the rational possibility that it is a wave whose intensity is its mass energy; as it should be since for ALL harmonic waves EVER known their intensities relate directly to the energy of the wave.
You cannot and therefore you cannot claim that
[/LIST]The wave-function of an free electron is not a strictly a wave - it is a constant spinor multiplied by a complex exponential (i.e. a wave).
First you say it is not a "really" a wave but a spinor, and then you claim that it is a wave: You are REALLY confused are you not?!
A wave-function is not an electron - it is a mapping of the configuration space of a electron to a complex quantity.
A wave function is the abstract mathematical description of a wave. By taking the square of the wave function you obtain the wave. Dirac’s equation (just like Schroedinger’s equation) gives an intensity distribution within three-dimensional space which does NOT consist of moving peaks and troughs: Such a wave function cannot model diffraction of a coherent wave.
That is wrong: The Dirac equation is defined as an equation for a single electron. No one claims that it is an equation for a "infinite electron" (an infinite number of electrons?).
When you solve it for a single electron you obtain an energy spectrum for the single electron which, except for a gap around zero energy, gives energy values stretching from minus infinity to plus infinity; Since an electron will be in the lowest energy level, this means that Dirac’s equation mandates that a single electron must have an energy of minus infinity. To fudge this inconvemient truth away, Dirac assumed that the infinite number negative energy levels are all filled with electrons. This sounds to me like a solution for a wave amplitude representing an infinite number of electrons: But maybe you cannot count further than unity?
So if you have a spin 1/2 particle like an electron then the Dirac equation is the QM equation to use.
If you want to believe this abstract goobledy-gook, go ahead, but is not based on reality.

Wrong: One of the possible reasons that I gave was that she did not want to hurt your feelings. That is not an insult. That is a possible reason.
You claimed that she is the type of physicist who will allow subjective reasons to cloud her response: Yup! That is a horrid and grave insult.
That is right: the value of your g can be any value larger than ½.
But it is not set by the wave function AFAIK (citations against this please).
Try and read an elementary text book on quantum mechanics (have you ever tread one?). Since you are not very clever, take the simple case of momentum and position: i.e. (del)x*(del)p=g(hbar) Take any specific solution of the Schroedinger equation and use the formulas in the text book to calculate (delta)x and (delta)p for that wave-function. Multiply them and derive the value of g. Do it again: Do you now obtain another value for g? Really if spouting nonsense was a spot you would have been a leopard.
The uncertainty principle is a result of non-commuting operators.
Correct: and position and momentum are supposedly such operators. So do the calculation, or get a first year student outside New Zealand to do it for you.
Thus your following equations have no definite values.
Well do the calculation I just suggested and prove that the value of g is not “a specific value” for a specific wave function. You might even win the Nobel Prize you know.

That hacker should be given nothing because he has done nothing for science. Any one who has followed the Climategate fiasco will see that the result of all of the investigations was that everyone was cleared of any scientific wrongdoing.
There were some procedural problems that were pointed out (e.g. non-timely responses to requests for information).
Yes there was a cover-up not to expose the truth about how corrupt science has become. I have seen many such cover-ups in my lifetime here in South Africa during the rule of the Apartheid government.
P.S. You may not be aware but randman's opinion should be taken with a grain of salt since he is a creationist and even finds some YEC arguments persuasive. That he finds any credibility in YEC is a sad reflection on his knowledge and analytical skills.
How much salt I will have to take with randman’s opinion, I will decide on my own. I would not be surprised if it is far-far less salt than I need for your posts.

Yes.
Actually by disconnecting it.
If you leave the power supply connected of course the charge-carriers continue through the superconductor, into the normal conductor and stop!
Correct. And when an equilibrium current is flowing, you cannot measure any voltage across any two contacts to the superconductor EVEN WHILE THE POWER SUPPLI IS STILL WITHIN THE CIRCUIT. You are NOT required to disconnect the power supply for this voltage to be ZERO!!!!!!

That is so ignorant: History of superconductivity

Quote:
Onnes conducted an experiment, in 1912, on the usability of superconductivity. Onnes introduced an electrical current into a superconductive ring and removed the battery that generated it. Upon measuring the electrical current, Onnes found that its intensity did not diminish with the time.[2] The current persisted due to the superconductive state of the conductive medium.
(emphasis added)
This does not explain why the electric field goes to zero once an equilibrium current is flowing WHILE THE POWER SUPPLY IS STILL CONNECTED WITHIN THE CIRCUIT. You still cannot get it, can you?

I have NOT been on a crusade to change the definition.

Oh, so you just want to keep using a conflicting definition? Okay...

I did not know, and did not even suspect that there could exist idiots within physics who would change Onnes' perfectly valid definition.

I told you the standard definition ages ago. You cannot claim to have been ignorant in this most recent exchange unless you're having severe memory problems. And if you are, well, perhaps you should be doing something other than physics.

I have argued and gave the information why it is incontrovertible above. If you do not agree, then give reasons based on physics why you disagree

I have. Many times. You would struggle to defend some nonsense, then finally abandon it and more on to a new nonsense, certain in the conviction that this time you've got it right. That game has gotten boring.

And you think YOU are?

My arguments have never depended upon my credibility. Furthermore, I don't care all that much if I fail to convince you, and I don't need to convince the physics community at large.

Oh, so you just want to keep using a conflicting definition? Okay...
What is conflicting about the seminal definition that Onnes used? Are you arguing that Onnes was confused? Please! Who the hell are you to insult the intelligence of such a great man?
you the standard definition ages ago.
Why should I believe an anonymous scoundrel who hides behind a mask like a criminal? You have NEVER mentioned WHO changed and WHEN Onnes’ VERY CLEAR definition has been changed. It is obvious that only a total idiotic fool would have seen the need to “correct” Onnes.
I have. Many times.
Only once you and Ben m and Sol Invictus were correct, and I had the decency to admit it and correct my mistake. Not in a SINGLE other case have you EVER been correct. And when I pointed out to you that you do not know about a displacement current, you did not have the honesty to admit it.
You would struggle to defend some nonsense, then finally abandon it and more on to a new nonsense, certain in the conviction that this time you've got it right.
Examples please!
That game has gotten boring.
Yes it is since I have to keep on throwing pearls before a person like you who understands very little, if anything, about physics.
My arguments have never depended upon my credibility.
At last you admit that you are not credible.
Furthermore, I don't care all that much if I fail to convince you, and I don't need to convince the physics community at large.
How can YOU convince anybody when you are ashamed of your credibility?

What is conflicting about the seminal definition that Onnes used?

Oh, maybe the fact that it doesn't match the current one.

Are you arguing that Onnes was confused?

No. And it doesn't even matter: his definition is not the current definition. Either definition could have worked, but the community of physicists has adopted a different one. And that's not going to change at this point.

Please! Who the hell are you to insult the intelligence of such a great man?

It's not his intelligence I'm questioning.

Why should I believe an anonymous scoundrel who hides behind a mask like a criminal?

You don't have to believe me. Consult any modern physics textbook on condensed matter physics.

You have NEVER mentioned WHO changed and WHEN Onnes’ VERY CLEAR definition has been changed.

Because, frankly, I don't care and it doesn't matter. It happened.

Only once you and Ben m and Sol Invictus were correct, and I had the decency to admit it and correct my mistake.

No, johan. Only ONCE did you have the decency to admit that you were wrong. But you have been wrong far more often than that.

And when I pointed out to you that you do not know about a displacement current, you did not have the honesty to admit it.

That's because it's not true: I do know about displacement currents, and they have nothing to do with the argument I was giving.

Examples please!

We can start with the nonsense about energy conservation violations in a Josephson junction. You abandoned your initial explanation. Then you had the idea of stored energy in electric polarization, which didn't solve the problem. I don't know what your current explanation is, but I'm sure it's just as nonsensical.

At last you admit that you are not credible. How can YOU convince anybody when you are ashamed of your credibility?

I don't need to convince anyone. And I'm not making any claims that cannot be verified with easily-available sources.

Oh, maybe the fact that it doesn't match the current one.
I have asked you to inform us WHO decided that Onnes' definition should be narrowed to only materials that show the Meissner effect, and WHY was it considered necessary to do so? You have not given answer.
No. And it doesn't even matter: his definition is not the current definition. Either definition could have worked, but the community of physicists has adopted a different one.
So if either definition could have worked, then both must still be correct. And therefore when you prove for the first time ever that a current is actually flowing while it is impossible that there is an electric-field present, it is irrelevant because some unknown physicist has decided that the electric-field can only be zero when there is a Meissner effect.
It's not his intelligence I'm questioning. Because, frankly, I don't care and it doesn't matter. It happened.
Why was it so important that it had to happen? There is no logical physics reason for it.
No, johan. Only ONCE did you have the decency to admit that you were wrong. But you have been wrong far more often than that.
Where and when? You are making false accusations that you cannot substantiate.
That's because it's not true: I do know about displacement currents, and they have nothing to do with the argument I was giving.
Your argument was that a current must start flowing through the whole wire of a superconducting magnet when you switch on a voltage across the wire; and therefore the charge carriers must start accelerating at every point along the wire. I pointed out that this happens without acceleration of charge-carriers since a displacement current does not require acceleration of charge-carriers. Thus, either you did not know about a displacement current or you were just too stupid to realise what such a current implies. There are no other explanations. And since then you have been too dishonest to admit that you have been wrong.
We can start with the nonsense about energy conservation violations in a Josephson junction. You abandoned your initial explanation. Then you had the idea of stored energy in electric polarization, which didn't solve the problem.
I did make a second mistake since I still did not throw off the shackles of Josephson’s Voodoo arguments. Now I have, and came back. The correct explanation is now on a pdf on my website. Show me where I am wrong this time if I am. Nothing is impossible.
I don't know what your current explanation is, but I'm sure it's just as nonsensical.
. How can you be sure without having read it? This statement proves to me that you are again lying. I have announced weeks ago that this explanation is on my website. If you are not a total fool you would have checked it out, and if you could have found a mistake you would have gleefully rubbed my nose in it. This means that you could not find a mistake but in your typical dishonest manner refuses to admit this.
I don't need to convince anyone. And I'm not making any claims that cannot be verified with easily-available sources.
You have made many wrong claims which can be verified to be impossible from easily verified sources: For example, that charge-carriers that can be accelerated by an electric field can cancel an applied electric field while transporting a current. Not even a grade 8 pupil will be so stupid to claim this.

So if either definition could have worked, then both must still be correct.

No. We could have called grass red and blood green, but we don't. So saying blood is green is wrong. The definition we actually use is the correct definition, even if other definitions were possible. This is such a basic concept, it's a wonder that you still struggle against it.

Why was it so important that it had to happen?

Whether or not it had to is quite beside the point. It did. Your one-man crusade against using the now-standard definition is pointless, both because it's hopeless and because your important claims (or should I say, the claims you make that would be important if true) don't depend on using a non-standard definition either.

And this is moronic nonsense. Displacement current flows in the proper direction if the voltage increased over time, which is not at all the scenario under consideration. And to obtain a current which increases linearly over time (which is what you get in, say, a ramping superconducting magnet when you apply a constant voltage), you'd need the voltage to scale as t2. So it's quite obvious that displacement current has nothing to do with what I was talking about, because it doesn't behave the same way that actuall current behaves. So it's more than a bit ironic that you're claiming I don't know what displacement current is when its basic properties clearly illustrate that it's not relevant here.

I did make a second mistake since I still did not throw off the shackles of Josephson’s Voodoo arguments. Now I have, and came back. The correct explanation is now on a pdf on my website. Show me where I am wrong this time if I am.

Frankly, it's not worth the trouble. Given how obstinate you were the first time around, how absolutely insistent you were that you were right and that everyone who pointed out your elementary mistakes was an idiot, why should I expect anything different this time? You will, once again, fail to understand any offered criticism, and if you ever do abandon whatever nonsense you're now peddling, you'll simply replace it with some new nonsense, just like you have every other time. The game is now boring.

How can you be sure without having read it?

Because I've learned enough about you to draw the obvious conclusion. When you've screwed up so badly, so consistently, and for so long, well, there's a point beyond which no purpose is served by further humoring you. I think we're probably past that point.

You are really a boring person who can only quote since you do not have enough knowledge to argue on your own.
Ignoring your usual dumb insult:
I cite the actual science because that is the actual science, i.e. the Dirac equation has been shown to be relativistically invariant ( Covariant Form and Relativistic Invariance ). Dirac did it. It is in textbooks.

I asked you to prove this: What you gave is NOT a proof that this is so. Solve the Dirac equation within an inertial reference frame, then transform the solution into another inertial refrence frame using the Lorentz transformation, and then derive the change in the de Broglie wavelength.
Prove it.
I do not need to repeat the proof that you are too lazy to look up (and yes I have looked it up).
The Dirac equation has been shown to be relativistically invariant.

The dumbness of your demand for a 'proof' is obvious: even in a non-relativistic theory, the de Broglie wavelength will change between inertial reference frames.

And in order to diffract...
Wrong: And in order to diffract the electrons have to act as a wave.

I am asking you again to define what a particle is.
Been there, done that, not going to pander to your failing memory.

First you say it is not a "really" a wave but a spinor, and then you claim that it is a wave:
I said the wave function is not exactly a wave. It is more than a wave. It is the product of
  • a constant spinor and
  • a complex exponential (i.e. a wave)
A wave function is the abstract mathematical description of a wave.
Wrong: A wave function is an abstract mathematical function that maps from the possible states of a system to a complex number.
The solutions to the Schrödinger or Dirac equation for free particles have wave functions involving complex exponentials (i.e. waves).

The magnitude squared of a wave function is usually interpreted as a probability amplitude. It is the probability of the system being measured to be in a state, e.g. a particle being at a location or with a certain momentum.

Just to emphasis this: the wave function is not the particle.
A wave function describing an electron is not the electron - it allows the calculation of the state of the electron. Even in interpretations where the wave function has physical reality (e.g. De Broglie–Bohm theory), it guides the particle, it is not the particle.

To fudge this inconvemient truth away, Dirac assumed that the infinite number negative energy levels are all filled with electrons.
Thus another success of the Dirac equation that you ignore: The prediction of positrons.

Citation for the uncertainty relationship ΔEΔt = g(hbar)

You claimed that she is the type of physicist who will allow subjective reasons to cloud her response: Yup! That is a horrid and grave insult.
No: I claimed that was one possible reason.
You are the one claiming that she is the type of physicist who will allow subjective reasons to cloud her response. And Yup! That is a horrid and grave insult that I would and have never applied to her.

Try and read an elementary text book on quantum mechanics (have you ever tread one?).
..usual insane insults...
Try and cite any elementary text book on quantum mechanics that defines ΔEΔt = g(hbar) as in your PDF.

For that matter: what is the definition of g in that elementary text book on quantum mechanics?

Does any other poster have access to an elementary text book on quantum mechanics that defines Heisenburg's relationshiip for energy and time as ΔEΔt = g(hbar) ?

Yes there was a cover-up not to expose the truth about how corrupt science has become.
And now you are showng a real paranoic streak.
There was no coverup. The Climategate investigations were open to public scrutiny, took evidence from a wide variety of people and their results were widely published.

This does not explain why the electric field goes to zero once an equilibrium current is flowing WHILE THE POWER SUPPLY IS STILL CONNECTED WITHIN THE CIRCUIT.
There is no equilibrium current WHILE THE POWER SUPPLY IS STILL CONNECTED WITHIN THE CIRCUIT.

This is something you agreed with back in February:
Close, but I said nothing about an equilibrium current. With zero resistance and a nonzero field, there is no equilibrium.
Good point! But my argument stays the same that there is no remaining initial momentum when you switch off the power supply.
Your argument remains invalid - no resistance means that the momentum stays the same when you disconnect the power supply as the current in superconducting rings demonstrates.

No. We could have called grass red and blood green, but we don't. So saying blood is green is wrong. The definition we actually use is the correct definition, even if other definitions were possible. This is such a basic concept, it's a wonder that you still struggle against it.
I am really getting bored with your semantic acrobatics.
<snip> There exists NO PHYSICS reason whatsoever to have done it. If the “experts” in superconduction prefers to do so, it is there free right, but it is still the action of idiots. Added after posting: Your example about defining grass "green" or "red" is the argument of <snip>. What has happenned is that Onnes defined grass as being green, and the idiots whoic came after him said "real grass" must be "light green". Although a grass can be light green grass is still grass when it is dark green. <snip>

Whether or not it had to is quite beside the point. It did.
Without any logical reason based on physics? Only a totally senile person will do so and in this manner exclude all other materials which can transfer a current without an electric field driving the current, as Onnes initially discovered, as NOT being superconductors.
Your one-man crusade against using the now-standard definition is pointless,
I have no “crusade” against it since I have long ago stopped to “crusade” against idiots who are so stupid that they limit a perfectly adequate and more general definition by adding other conditions to it. <snip>
in both because it's hopeless and because your important claims (or should I say, the claims you make that would be important if true) don't depend on using a non-standard definition either.
I have not said that they depend on a senseless definition for superconduction; but that they prove for the first time in the history of physics that a current can flow from one contact to the other while an electric field cannot be present within the material. Onnes defined this as superconduction, and it is my free right to prefer the original definition by a true scientist than the modification of this definition by the fools who tried to follow, without much success, in his footsteps.
<snip> when you switch on the current the localised charge-carriers become polarised and as the current increases this polarisation decreases. It is then easy to prove that your argument above is incorrect: AS USUAL.
This is the way in which physics has been developed through the ages: By mistakes and correction of mistakes. Obviously anybody who thinks he has the correct answer will at first resist, and argue otherwise: But it is at this point where the men are separated from the idiotic boys. The real scientist will admit that he is wrong and search for a solution that answers the valid criticisms. You are not such a person.
The game is now boring.
Exactly, because you refuse point blank to acknowledge when you are wrong, and to read new material that might prove that you are wrong. You are the boring one in this respect.
Because I've learned enough about you to draw the obvious conclusion. When you've screwed up so badly, so consistently, and for so long, well, there's a point beyond which no purpose is served by further humoring you. I think we're probably past that point.
I hope so since I am getting tired of you screwing up physics since you obviously cannot think logically. Have you studied physics in your life? Have you got ANY standing in science at all? <snip>
