I know. It will be our third time there. Last year we went to Angel's Landing (and got back in time for the football game at 13:00), this year we aim higher...

I still would've liked to go to Red Rock, since we both discovered our love for all kinds of stones while traveling the Southwest, but it doesn't look likely we will make it.

The largest car I was able to rent officially holds seven (7) passengers, not including the driver. So that's eight (8) altogether.

We might be able to squeeze in more than that. I've seen 12 people stuffed into an SUV, a few times, without any permanent damage done to their bodies.

But, if someone else wants to drive the leftovers, that would be super awesome! Thanks in advance.

You didn't try very hard. You could of (and should of) rented a 15 passenger van.

May we chip in a few dollars for gas/rental?

Also, I'm thinking of making some geo handouts-- would that interest anyone?

There is no need for you to call "shotgun" anymore. Your previous calling will still be honored.

Do you think it's worth it for me to get the 15-passenger van? It will probably cost more for me, not that I care that much. But, I gotta do something with my rewards points, and the van wasn't an option.

Nah- I'm just bringing tennis shoes. If you really like hiking boots, feel free to bring them. But there shouldn't be too much strenuous hiking. We'll mostly be driving and getting out to look at roadside rocks. Maybe we'll take a couple of short walks.
 
Wowbagger-- has anyone else mentioned if they have a car? If we just had a second car, that should work, right?
 
At the time it meant depending on when we're going. We're going at the right time, but keep in mind, my car will already have 3 of 5 seats taken. I'm happy to add two more, however.
