I'll have to meet you at Harrah's too, I'm not staying at SP and I'm not wasting money on cab fair there just to head all the way back to the Strip.

Food afterwards sounds better to me, then anyone who's doing both this and P&T can just hang in a group.

Good idea, I'll be going to P&T afterwards and Harrah's is fairly close to the Rio.

Well, the Rio is about 2 miles away from the strip. What I meant by 'close' is that Harrah's is basically the closest you can get to the Rio and still be on the strip :p

Just an update on the tickets.

I've tried calling both this number and the number on Harrah's website for group ticket sales this afternoon, but they appear to be closed early, probably due to the holiday weekend, so haven't been able to get the tickets yet.

I'll keep trying, but I may not be able to order the 12 tickets until Tuesday morning (due to Monday being a US holiday).

As soon as I have purchased them, I'll announce it here. Just wanted to let people know since I said I would be ordering them today. Oops. :o

There's no hurry. Assuming all 12 tickets get spoken for, it'll be $13.44 per person including taxes and fees (I confirmed this yesterday), so it's not that much.

Once I order the tickets, I'll let everyone know here. PayPal is OK, or you can pay in person at TAM if you prefer.
 
I was wavering on this one, but I'm already going to Penn and Teller in the evening, preceded by the Indian restaurant that Scrut finds amusing Now it's been announced that the lunch for volunteers is on Wednesday, I don't think I'll be able to fit it in. I'll probably take an afternoon nap instead. :)
 
OK, guys and gals--I've faxed the completed group ticket purchase form, so once I get final confirmation we should be all set.

I purchased 12 tickets, at $13.44 each including all taxes and fees, $161.88 total, for Mac King on Wednesday, July 13 @ 3pm.

Final cost per person will depend on how many people go, but I think we have the 12. :)
