Michelle Bachmann could be our next president.

Michele Bachmann, Sarah Palin, and Nancy Pelosi ... all that's missing is the cauldron.

nope, you need to drop either Bachman or Palin and get someone younger and without children (preferably a virgin, but definitely not a mother). Certain patterns must be adhered to in these matters.

Whether she knows it or not, Michele Bachman isn't campaigning to be President. She's campaigning to be Vice President.

She won't get it. If the nominee feels he has to have candidate that can appeal to the more hard line conservatives, there are people he can pick that will bring in the conservative vote but don't have Bachmann's negatives.

Well, sure, but that just opens a whole other can of worms.

She wants the US to follow the example of John Wayne Gacy?

huh. Her score is much higher than the last time I looked. There was a good long time where all her checks came out dead wrong.

Yes, she recently uttered a "true" statement (her only one). I guess even a stopped clock is right twice a day.

What "slur" and how was it "less rational"?

I originally said you had an "argument". An "argument" is an attempt to convince someone with evidence and logic. Even a poor argument is an attempt to engage in rational discourse. Turns out I used the wrong word. You weren't trying to be rational ergo I gave you too much credit. Instead having a discussion, you decided to slur your political opponents.

–noun
7. a slurred utterance or sound.
8. a disparaging remark or a slight: quick to take offense at a slur.
9. a blot or stain, as upon reputation: a slur on his good name.

Yes, calling someone unattractive is a slur. It was also off topic.

Yup, I was just thinking about this today.

I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see a Romney/Bachmann ticket on the GOP side in 2012.

Of course, I think the results would be similar to 2008 if the Republicans made that mistake again.

I wouldn't give it that much credit. The loss would be the same, but I think the votes would be skewed quite a bit more in Obama's favor...

I found this amusing.

It seems Bachmann is another in a long line of conservative politicians who have unsuccessfully tried to appropriate a rock 'n' roll image.

Is Ted Nugent's catalog not sufficient for these people?

I watched MSNBC and they were annoucing that Bachmann was the front runner every couple minutes for perhaps the last two hours I was watching. Are there other stations that are not backing her? I understand that FOX news is upset for some reason. I don't know. Is there some other viable candidate running that I don't know about. I remember reading Mit Romney's bio awhile back and thinking what an *******. Maybe the next step is to wiki Bachmann's bio before I decide where to send my 10 bucks.
