There seems to be a he said/she said situation over a physical altercation involving the conservative Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice David Prosser and Liberal Justice Ann Walsh. She claims he put her in a choke hold. His side says that "she charged him with fists raised" and he "put his hands in a defensive posture" to block her, and made contact with her neck.

He also called Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson a "total bitch" and threatened to "destroy" her. He accused the female justices of "bullying" and "abuse."

Oh dear. This won't end well.

ETA: Got a 404 for that link mate.

Try again? I just tried it and it worked for me.
If not try a Google news search on David Prosser, and you should find a story about it.

Yup working now. Who knows why it didn't before. Chalk it up to the vagaries of the intertoobz.

I did, too.
Trust me, it's STILL boring. Pretty good cheese, if you know where to shop. Okay lagers, if you plan to drink them when it's freaking hot out, but stay away from the various forms of schnapps when things warm up, though peppermint can settle a stomach done wrong by Wisconsin food and beer. And sausages to die for.

If I had the money and no regard for my driver's licence I'd suggest we destroy our livers making a lap of Wisconsin, Taiwan, and Korea, with the hope that kimchee could make it all better.

The jerk probably won his seat only by elections fraud in the first place, and now he wants to pick fights with women.

That state is just crawling with crazies.

It looks to me as though there may have been an attempt to set Bradley up for charges of some sort. He was in her office. And she apparently told him to leave, but he did not. Then the scumbag has the chutzpah to say that SHE has a way of provoking people to act out.

Well, one of them probably does have a personality disorder. Given his conduct toward the Chief Justice, and the fact that he was in Bradley's office leaves him looking like the psychopath her.

I thought Wisconsin was ruled by a council of sentient cheeses who dispensed their wisdom written on crackers. If that is not the case, I suggest it be implemented as a plan for a bold new tomorrow where peace and harmony go hand in hand with deliciousness.

I thought Wisconsin was ruled by a strange monarchy for years. I read a pretentious magazine article as a kid and the author said "the state is dominated by the ubiquitous Holsteins". What do I know from dairy cows - I'm a street punk from New Orleans with a library card! I thought it was like the Hapsburgs.

I think trhe Holsteins would do a better job of running the state than the herd of teatards that are running it into the ditch now.

It's gone as we all suspected. Brett Favre leaves, there are a few tense years with the pretense of order, and then, finally, Wisconsin dissolves into anarchy.

Innocent until proven guilty. Just sayin'.

Don't lose your objectivity just because you disagree politically.

I notice in the article that there was another justice in the area. One of Prosser's teatard allies, perhaps? If so, I call set-up.

The altercation was in her office. She didn't want them there. There is no reason on earth to think that Bradley might have assaulted the useless drongo.

Hopefully they will help WI fromage a more perfect union.

Everything I have heard about this story just makes me think one thing - Really? Judges are acting this way? Really?

I thought Wisconsin itself was primarily cheese. Wasn't there a documentary about an Englishman's visit to the state?

Yeah, but you called set-up on Weiner too.
Big difference is that there was no crime involved in the Weiner dust-up.

Somebody committed an unlawful act in WI.

Given the behavior of the teatards running WI now, I doubt that it was Bradley.

Since we are talking about crimes, the political party and beliefs of the defendant are (almost always) inadmissible in court. There is good reason for that...they are not relevant.

Unless there is an allegation of a conspiracy.
