At every step we seem to have made stupid mistakes that allowed the Hijackers to succeed.

The people who caused these seemingly stupid things, over and over, kept getting promoted.

If you intentionally appoint incompetents who you know are going to screw things up, then what are you?

Names?

The excuse Hayden would use to shut down the system tracking some of the Hijackers was that the lawyers said it was Illegal.

The lawyer was probably "Senior Counselor," Robert L. Deitz of the NSA.

The excuse Hayden used to shut the system down was because it was violating civil rights.

Robert L. Deitz would later defend warrant-less wire tapping.
Mr Deitz provided the cover for Hayden to shut the system of communications intercepts down.

It is very difficult to find out who gave the legal advice that Hayden used to shut down the tracking of some of the terrorists. You try to get a list of NSA personnel.

When the same person both argued to shut down the system to protect civil rights is later arguing for warrantless wiretapping it is way too convenient.

To determine if there is a conspiracy you need to establish the motivation and benefits to all of the participants.
That's motive. Means and opportunity are also necessary. Truthers tend to focus on one.

A lot of information of the official story is based on a certain viewpoint and is not supported by facts.
Nonsense.

Do we have video of all the events described by the official story? Then saying that the official story is ironclad is not true
You don't need video to prove everything. Physical evidence and eyewitness testimony is often enough.

Focusing entirely on what happened after the airliners hit will only give you part of the information you need.
Except that they investigated what happened before it as well. You know, finding out who the hijackers were and how they got control of the planes?

If it was a real investigation they would have recovered 60% to 80% of the affected floors STEEL.
No True Scotsman.

If you mean the planes, they were tracked all the way. It was just difficult for the ATC to follow them in real time. If they can go back and remove the other planes from the plot.

"Probably"?

Unless he, y'know, had his mind changed by a terrorist attack that killed thousands.

PBS: NSA could have prevented 9/11 hijackings
Muriel Kane
Published: Tuesday January 27, 2009

The super-secretive National Security Agency has been quietly monitoring, decrypting, and interpreting foreign communications for decades, starting long before it came under criticism as a result of recent revelations about the Bush administration's warrantless wiretapping program. Now a forthcoming PBS documentary asks whether the NSA could have prevented 9/11 if it had been more willing to share its data with other agencies.

Author James Bamford looked into the performance of the NSA in his 2008 book, The Shadow Factory, and found that it had been closely monitoring the 9/11 hijackers as they moved freely around the United States and communicated with Osama bin Laden's operations center in Yemen. The NSA had even tapped bin Laden's satellite phone, starting in 1996.

"The NSA never alerted any other agency that the terrorists were in the United States and moving across the country towards Washington," Bamford told PBS.

To use the same term the loyal Bushies would use, the Mosaic of the evidence

Hayden was either incredibly stupid, or he was intentionally sabotaging our tracking of the terrorists.

The FBI asks the NSA to pass on all calls between an al-Qaeda communications hub in Yemen and the US. The hub, which is run by an operative named Ahmed al-Hada and was involved in the attacks on US embassies in East Africa (see Late August 1998), is a key al-Qaeda logistics center and intelligence gleaned from listening in on calls to and from it will help prevent some attacks (see August 4-25, 1998 and Late 1998-Early 2002). Dan Coleman, one of the FBI agents who places the request, will say, “anyone who called the Yemen number is white-hot, a top suspect.”

However, the NSA will not inform the FBI of all calls between the hub and the US. [Suskind, 2006, pp. 94] In particular, two 9/11 hijackers will call the hub while they are in the US (see Early 2000-Summer 2001).

However, the information will be withheld from the FBI and various explanations will be offered for this failure (see (Spring 2000), Summer 2002-Summer 2004, and March 15, 2004 and After).

Michael Hayden was Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) from 1999–2005

For example, the FBI is not informed that hijackers Khalid Almihdhar and Nawaf Alhazmi make calls to the communications hub from the US between spring 2000 and summer 2001 (see Spring-Summer 2000 and Mid-October 2000-Summer 2001). The FBI also asks the NSA to pass any calls between the communications hub and the US to the FBI, but the NSA does not do this either (see Late 1998). [Suskind, 2006, pp. 94

Another source suggests operational information was passed on during the calls (see Early 2000-Summer 2001). However, two FBI agents who worked on al-Qaeda cases relating to Yemen, Dan Coleman and Ali Soufan, will later claim that they and other senior counterterrorism officials only learn about these calls after 9/11. [Los Angeles Times, 12/21/2005; Suskind, 2006, pp. 94; New Yorker, 7/10/2006 pdf file]
Significance - Author Lawrence Wright will comment: “You know, this is the key. The NSA is all over this phone. And everybody, you know, that has any connection with it is drawing links from that phone. Now imagine eight lines from Yemen to San Diego. How obvious would it be that al-Qaeda is in America[?]” [Federal News Service, 10/5/2006]
Other Calls - The NSA also intercepts various other communications between the hijackers and the communications hub

I am ignoring you because you are trying to make me mad and CHANGE the subject. Did I mention that the professional Disinformation agents supporting the BIG LIE are being hunted as we speak? Guess Not

Michael Hayden was Director of the National Security Agency (NSA) from 1999–2005

He is terrible at catching Hijackers but he is very good at spying on Americans.

Why does Nancy Pelosi pull impeachment off the table?

Can you say blackmail.

After 9-11 hundreds of Arab Cab Drivers are interrogated

Bush sends all of Osama Bin Ladens family out of the country on the only jet to fly that day. The FBI only gets to wave BYE BYE

I wonder if the Son of Osama that we killed in PAKISTAN was one of the same people sent out on that flight.

Who is hunting Michael Hayden then? Are his current whereabouts unknown? What do these hunters plan to do to him when he is found?

Respectfully,
Myriad

IF Hayden is hunted, he will have to prove that he is incompetent or take up smoking and wearing a blindfold.
