Has everyone but me forgotten Chinagate and CampaignFinancegate?
Indeed, one of my biggest complaints about the Bush adminstration (the one that got me tossed off Free Republic, a site run by conservatives who wanted to "move on") was/is that he didn't pursue many clear cases of criminality in the Clinton administration.
LOL! That's what browsers are for.![]()

It's a shame that someone can't see the forest through some trees.![]()
What does that even mean?
LOL! That's what browsers are for.![]()
That's about as funny as a screen door on a battleship.
That's about as funny as a screen door on a battleship.
Submarine?
my bad.
What do you think the takeaway from that discrepancy should be?
How much would you like to bet that no-one here is surprised that that would be one of your biggest complaints about the Bush administration?
De-cyphering gibberish?
Never. Or at least not until you wrote it. As google shows, no one else had either.Seriously, Spindrift, you telling us you've never heard the expression "can't see the forest through the trees"?
Yes, I've heard of that. But that isn't what you wrote. So instead of correcting yourself for mangling the idiom, you give a snide response. Try admitting when you're wrong. I know that may take a lot of time out of your day, but it's usually worth it.How about "can't see the forest for the trees"? Does that help you understand what I meant?
Or are you still clueless?![]()
Just how many voices are in your head, B?Seriously, Spindrift, you telling us you've never heard the expression "can't see the forest through the trees"?
I'd guess most everyone could guess what you meant, but you mangled the saying, much like my Biff quote. If you're going to criticize someone on their cluelessness, you should verify that you weren't being clueless yourself first. How about "can't see the forest for the trees"? Does that help you understand what I meant?
Or are you still clueless?![]()
That the liberal leaning mainstream media is so poorly informing the public that our country is in real trouble. Why wouldn't you think that?
Or are you claiming that Chinagate and CampaignFinancegate were big todos about nothing?
Seriously, cwalner, where exactly do you stand?
Well as I warned the folks at Free Republic, if Bush's administration ignored serious crimes committed during the Clinton administration, Bush and his administration might be encouraged to commit crimes themselves ... such as violating campaign finance laws or using the FBI or IRS against political opponents. It would certainly set a precedent for future democratic and republican adminstrations. And you folks have been claiming that the Bush administration acted criminally in a wide variety of matters? Haven't you? And I certainly believe that because democrats got away with violating campaign finance laws once they now feel they can do away with them almost at will. Now they know that not only will republicans not punish them for crimes, but the mainstream media will ignore them. Just look at what Obama did in the last election and how little the media cared.![]()
OMFG, that is genius!!!
You actually managed to create a scenario in which Clinton is actually the person responsible for the misdeeds of the Bush Administration.
Wow!!, just wow!
