The Biblical Realities of Hell

Focus.

Wikipedia says the last pole flip was 780,000 years ago. Is that the number you were thinking of?

. . . . . . . .

And as long as we are on that topic,

Did you want to take a moment to admit that it is virtually impossible for you to be more wrong in your claim?

Yes I was.
Many scientist do believe we are over due.
They also believe that an increase in sun spot activity might play a role.
The activity as far as I heard should peak soon and has shown signs of slacking off.
But we still got 6 months and 12 days to go?
Hopfully everything starts to slack off.

That has nothing to do with your god. Sun spots are a natural activity.

Yes they have but we have only experienced the flipping of the magnetic poles once in all history and it has happened 14 times through out those millions of years at least what we have discovered so far, like clock work.

Are these the same scientists who claimed that it happened every 14 million years like clockwork?

EVERYTHING in your post is wrong. 780,000 years ago is not "once in all history." because humans did not exist 780,000 years ago. It has not flipped only 14 times. There has been no period in all of this planet's history where the flipping was like clockwork.

You often complain that you are not given enough respect on this board. No regular poster on this board is prepared to give respect to someone who cannot admit that a post was wrong from top to bottom, was wrong from center to circumference.

The choice is yours. Admit that you were completely and perfectly wrong1 or continue being treated as someone who receives no respect.

The current prediction for Sunspot Cycle 24 gives a smoothed sunspot number maximum of about 69 in June of 2013. We are currently over two and a half years into Cycle 24. Three consecutive months with average daily sunspot numbers above 40 has raised the predicted maximum above the 64.2 for the Cycle 14 maximum in 1907. The predicted size would make this the smallest sunspot cycle in over 100 years.

This cycle looks like it will be on the small size. So what of if edge, and your time table is off, as it always is.

Edge, we are on the internet, we can check out things you say.

The book of Enoch tells us about that.
In there it also describes many other things like different levels of heaven.
The level or levels of hell, so the multi-universe or string theory starts and has always made sense.
I see a correlation you may not.

It is a shame that Sherlock Holmes, a fictional character penned in the 19th century, has a firmer grip on reality (not to mention the scientific process) than you do.

Fact is the more we learn the less any mythological pantheon has any basis in truth.

Edge?

What does the flipping of the poles have to do with this mythical hell?

Nothing at all, from what I understand it isn't a sudden cataclysmic switch, but something than happens over the course of a very long time and is so subtle that unless you knew it was happening... you wouldn't know it was happening.

So pole shift as proof of some hell = epic fail

It seems a very big step from the flipping of the poles to hell. Still,I suppose it makes sense in edge's fantasy world.

Edge can't possibly, in reality, be looking for respect here. Given the number of times his thought process has been proved wrong, one must conclude that he engages others at this forum only to fill some kind of sad masochistic need of his.

Some people contend that religious belief is a mental disorder. Edge lends credence to that contention.

What does the flipping of the poles have to do with this mythical hell?

Hell on earth perhaps.
Sun's rays to roast Earth as poles flip.

From 2002:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2002/nov/10/science.research
Currently, the sun is in the midst of the period designated as Cycle 24 and is ramping up toward the cycle's period of maximum activity. However, the recent findings indicate that the activity in the next 11-year solar cycle, Cycle 25, could be greatly reduced. In fact, some scientists are questioning whether this drop in activity could lead to a second Maunder Minimum, which was a 70-year period from 1645 to 1715 when the sun showed virtually no sunspots. [Video: Rivers of Fire Inflame Sunspots].

If this is what we can expect of our magnetic field well then I can see how we might be in danger, taken from this link:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geomagnetic_reversal

So I can see that we would be in danger with those kinds of flucuations.

Had some crap to say.
If looking ahead for dangers means all that you have said up there, then all of us including NASA, is gulity.
Your opinion of me is totally crapola anyway.

Your graph ends in the middle of 2010, the rest is a moderate prediction when in reality it doesn't mean squat.
6 and a half months to go.

In yellow, what?

It doesn't have to be that way. Even the longest journey begins with a single step:

EVERYTHING in your [pole flipping] post is wrong. 780,000 years ago is not "once in all history." because humans did not exist 780,000 years ago. It has not flipped only 14 times. There has been no period in all of this planet's history where the flipping was like clockwork.

Stop it.

You know perfectly well that NO ONE in this thread has adopted the position that there are no dangers to watch for. Comparing your position to NASA's is embarrassingly absurd. Our position was and always has been: Bible prophecies are crap, so using Bible prophecies to predict natural disaster numbers is crap piled on top of crap. Using Bible prophecies to predict a pole flip is crap piled on top of crap piled on top of crap. In fact you compounded the nonsense by making assertions that were disprovable by a ten-year-old child with access to Google.

I'm waiting for him to admit to his crapola mistake.

I'm waiting for him to admit to his crapola mistake.

And I'm still waiting to understand the original point of the OP. I been known for my thickheadedness so maybe I missed it... or maybe there was none all along.
