Post-TAM Tour?

I shall add myself, exercising my alphabetic rights to list myself at the top.

Hokulele Mom | Hokulele has a car, if she comes, too.
mr. ottle | le chauffeur
Kitten | Our guide, declared "shotgun"
zooterkin |
Kitten's friends (x2)
Wowbagger | Will likely have a rental car, also, if it's needed

I'd add El Spectre and me, but I haven't decided where on the list I want us to be.

And, please also remember to remove the Quote tags from around the table, when you copy it! Thanks!

Thank you!

This sounds awesome. But I have a question. Would it be okay if I brought a friend? (she's not going to TAM, but I'm pretty sure she'd be interested in a geo-tour).

Did it occur to you that I may be simply stupid about using your table?
No, you're not stupid. My post was only meant to be a simple reminder, because, yes: it would not occur to everyone that the quote tags should be removed, when updating it.

Thank you!
You're welcome!

Now you're just poking the Wowbagger.... :)
References to the table CAN be placed in quote tags. He was merely thanking me for adding him to it, I think.

It's ONLY when you are EDITING the table, (adding or removing rows, or other changes) that the Quote tags need to be removed. It makes it a lot easier for the next person to update the table.

So in summary:
  • Citing the table or parts of it for reference in a post: Keep the QUOTEs.
  • Updating the table, with changes meant to be kept in future copies: REMOVE the QUOTEs.
  • Mangling the table for purely artistic purposes: Do whatever the hell you want with the QUOTEs!
Do we understand?

No. Can you go over it again?

By all means!

Let me update the table...

  • Allecher
  • Hokulele Mom
  • Kitten
  • Kitten's friends (x2)
  • mr. ottle
  • Wowbagger
  • zooterkin
  • SkepticalDrew (+1)

How much advance notice will you need. This seems like something I might be interested in and am staying after for a few days, but I also plan on visiting friends during those days and have not nailed down times from them yet, so not sure about availability on Sunday afternoon.

I'll add you to the table:

Hokulele Mom, Kitten, zooterkin, Kitten's friends (x2), mr. ottle, cwalner (maybe), Allecher, Wowbagger, SkepticalDrew (+1)

I think we can afford to squeeze a few non-TAM folks into the vechicle(s), somehow, yes.

How much advance notice will you need.
I suspect that we wouldn't need much.

In fact, we might even place this trip on whatever event-listing boards they have at TAM, itself, so people who don't even visit this forum could be notified of it.

For the sake of sanity, it might be wise to get a rough estimate of how many people are interested going beforehand, anyway... so we can at least pretend that we are attempting to examine the transportation options accordingly. That is why we must have the list.
