I agree that the Jews should share a state with millions of people raised on Nazi propaganda. I agree that the Jews sharing the state with Hamas and Islamic Jihad would be awesome. I agree that democracy should take its course with people who believe that killing Jews is a religious duty.

How is that going to work, Parky? Leaving aside the fact that nobody in Israel, not even the communists, support it?

and yet, SOT thinks its unfair and anti-Semitic to expect Israel to share this land, with the rest of the 40% of the population.

what do you call it when 60% of the population controls the other 40% of the population, and that 40% has no voting rights or any control over the govt. that ultimately decides their fate?

Apartheid. Oh, and btw, Israel can end this Apartheid status, by completely pulling out of the Palestinian cities, towns, and villages in the West Bank. As long as Israel still has ultimate control over areas B & C in the WB, and the folks in those areas have no right to vote in Israeli elections, Apartheid exists.

You were responding to posts wherein we were discussing the size of the arab/muslim world. Not just Israel alone.

And yes, it is unfair to expect the jews to give up land to those who already own 99% of it.

btw, I however do not believe the situation in Israel-proper is one of Apartheid. It is more like Segregation-lite. Equal voting & other rights, but lots of discrimination in housing, education, employment, immigration, and many other legal matters.

but honestly, just looking at the map of settlements shows how utterly impossible it will be to remove the settlers from the West Bank:

clearly many if not most of the settlers will have to come under Palestinian-rule, or Israel is gonna have to annex the West Bank.

SOT is saying that since the Muslim world is soooo big..it would be wrong to ask the Jews to give up the West Bank.

Ok, SOT, do tell us what Israel will/should do with the 2.7 million Palestinians who live in the West Bank?

deport them to Ze Ost? ;)

or maybe Israel will be kind enough to allow them to stay, but have their political rights transfered to Jordan?

oh, and btw, here is a lovely image of the West Bank, showing those areas that the Palestinians CANNOT go. The Israeli settlements are in dark purple and the Palestinian no-go areas are in light-purple. The black line is the Seperation Barrier.

It's hard to understand how you can claim Israel is waging a demographic war without acknowledging Arabs been have waging a demographic war against Jews from the days of the British Mandate. What exactly do you think those limits on Jewish immigration were all about? And in modern days, why exactly do you think that recognizing Israel as a "Jewish State" or "Right of Return" for Palestinians is such a sticking point?

That's because Arabs wanting to destroy Israel is brave anti-colonialist liberation, while Jews wanting a state is evil imperialism.

So the Arabs are fighting the GOOD war, you see, so it's OK.

Well, yes, but according to Parky & co. they are not fully human, so there's no point getting all excited. When Muslims kill Muslims, the reaction is "meh, what do you expect?". Muslim deaths only count for something when Jews (or Americans, or the west, etc.) can be blamed for it.
 
One wonders, would Syrians and Egyptians and Palestinians be better off if they just asked Israel to rule them or on their own?

I think Assad killed more Syrians than Israel did, but at least Israel was repelling an invasion.

Is it reasonable to expect putting Hamas in charge of a new nation will bring peace?
