Any Update on Silverstein's Lawsuit?

Most of your questions have been answered in this thread and with the articles I've linked to. I'm not responsible for your laziness. And being lazy is giving you the benefit of the doubt, it might actually be something worse.

Wow.

You think your links answer THE QUESTIONS?

You know: 1. bandit; 2. windfall?

WOW!

You mean like Bin Laden's involvement in 9/11?

Yes, Red. The fact that bin Laden's involvement in 9/11 appeared in newspapers does not make it true. What makes it true is the fact that he was the leader of the group that funded and trained those responsible for 9/11, and that he was involved in planning and approving the attacks.

Do you see how that works?

Wow.

You think your links answer THE QUESTIONS?

how can links from 2009 answer questions related to 2011????

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Silverstein#Insurance_dispute

ok, so Silverstein can get in total, $4.5 billion in insurance. he is using the insurance to rebuild.

what are the projected building costs for WTC 2,3, and 4?

according to the article below, billions of $$ in Liberty Bonds will be used to rebuild.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Larry_Silverstein#Rebuilding

so...what will Silverstein's costs for rebuilding be? though it does appear that some of his insurance will go to rebuild WTC 1 even though he will not be leasing it.

oy..this is confusing.

How far back in this thread did I say that LS put 1billion toward the rebuilding of 1WTC even though he doesn't own it nor have any responsibility for it?

How far back in this thread did I post all the relevant info about 2,3, and 4? Start scrolling, you guys are really starting to bore me.

"Windfall" isn't even a good word to use, which is surprising coming from someone who apparently likes words so much. A windfall, by definition, is unexpected, yet RedIbis uses the word in an attempt to further dramatize his fantasy of some nefarious plan on Mr. Silverstein's part.

That's right; everyone who has won the lottery managed to do

You've never posted all the relevent information. You are a liar. I don't even know why you bother telling such obvious lies. You fool nobody and surely you know there is no chance that you'll fool anybody.

you also at one point said that Silverstein has no plans to rebuild 2,3, or 5

all we want...is for you to back-up your claim in one, concise, thorough and specific post.

not just links..but FACTS with the links.

-what are Silverstein's construction costs TO DATE?

-what are Silverstein's leasing costs TO DATE?

-how much has Silverstein received in insurance money TO DATE?

we want to see numbers & figures to back-up YOUR claim that Silverstein has made out like a bandit.

that's how true skeptics work, you see. we analyze evidence and information.

RedIbis- what you mostly fail to grasp, is that you might actually be RIGHT!!!

but you have so far failed to prove clearly and concisely that Silverstein may end up having more money than he did before the reconstruction began.

If after this is ALL said and done, Silverstein actually gains money from the insurance vs. construction costs, then yes...he made some $$.

But you have completely failed to prove that this will indeed be the situation once all recon is complete.

Why have you chosen to fail to prove this? I have no idea.

..and as to WHY you think Silverstein's insurer would let him rip them off by billions of dollars, is mind-boggling.

Myriad's idea of the masochistic lie explains this.

RedIbis isn't trying to lie to us regular debunkers, he's trying to lie to either fence-sitting lurkers (in the hopes that they'll take his side) or to fellow Truthers (in the hopes that they'll give him praise).

RedIbis, just to show you how EASY it is, I'm going to answer Thunder's questions. Since I don't actually know the numbers myself, I'll use variables in place of anything I don't know. This shouldn't detract from my demonstration of how easy these questions are to answer.

1. How much insurance money has Silverstein collected as of today?

2. What is Silverstein's total construction costs for the new WTC, as of today?

3. What is Silverstein's total leasing costs of the WTC site, from 9-12-01 to today?

4. What is Silverstein's projected loss of income from the original WTC, to today?

1. $W USD
2. -$X USD
3. -$Y USD
4. -$Z USD

There. All you have to do is fill in the variables W, X, Y, and Z with the numbers you MUST have in order to claim "Silverstein made out like a bandit" without being a liar. And since you are obviously not a liar, you MUST have those numbers. Just fill 'em in; that's all we're asking.

how much of his insurance settlement has Silverstein collected?
how does this compare to his construction costs to-date?

how does this compare to his projected future construction costs?

what are his total leasing costs for the WTC site, from 9-12-01 to today?

what is Silverstein's projected lossed income from the WTC since 9-11-01?

why do you refuse to answer these questions, and yet still stand by your baseless claim that he "made out like a bandit"?

RI, Don't forget to subtract 1.3 BN as of 2004 in legal costs.

So 70-something Silverstein had about 41 days to put together this whole plot to have Tower 1 crash onto Tower 7 for a plausible collapse explanation, and plot design, wire, fuse and install the silent explosives in WTC 1,2,7. And not get caught and executed.

1. Silverstein underinsured the buildings.
2. Silverstein screwed up his insurance coverage contracts.
3. Silverstein lost the legal battle with Swiss Re for two $3.5 Bn events.
4. Silverstein only bought more insurance because the lenders demanded it.
5. Silverstein has , as of 2004, spent $1.3 Bn in legal fees and other costs

"Swiss Re celebrates victory over Silverstein
05-10-2004 | Source: Reactions

Swiss Re has won its two-and-a-half-year legal battle against World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein. On Monday, the jury ruled that the world’s second-largest reinsurer is bound by the Wilprop contract, which determines that the destruction of the Twin Towers was a single event. …
“There was never once a doubt in my mind that the destruction of the Twin Towers constituted a single event,” says Dubois. “We insured the Towers as if it were a single house. Silverstein knew full well that he would only be able to collect $3.5bn. He recognised that he underinsured and tried to make up for it after the loss by trying to change the terms of the contract. He adds: “The entire effort, we have said from the start, will turn into a grandiose waste of time and money.”

Silverstein has reportedly already spent about $1.3bn in advance insurance payments on legal fees, his own expenses arising from the case and other costs relating to the dispute.

It emerged during the trial that Silverstein sought only about $1bn insurance coverage for the World Trade Center in July 2001. The companies that loaned money to Silverstein for the development of the World Trade Center required more insurance to safeguard them and virtually forced the developer to take out more insurance coverage.

Among these is GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corporation, a unit of General Motors, which loaned the developer $563m towards his purchase of the World Trade Center lease. GMAC is also suing Silverstein over his use of the insurance payments he has so far received. It alleges that he has sought to use the proceeds as an “unfettered account” for expenses, and has not cooperated to help protect GMAC’s interests.

“The developer made a conscious decision to buy as little insurance as he could get away with,” says Tom McKay, partner at law firm Cozen O’Connor, which represented Federal Insurance, a unit of Chubb, in the trial. “The lenders drove the amount of insurance that was bought in the end. He made a conscious financial decision to underinsure.”

Silverstein screwed up the insurance coverage and income from this whole affair if he intended to profit by blowing up the Towers and not be executed.

The ones who made out like bandits were the attorneys.

ETA: I posted the above over a year ago, in reply to one of RI's libelous Silverstein posts. He knows that Silverstein tried to underinsure the buildings. RI's back from halfway around the world, learning nothing ... or pretending so.
Not surprising.

It seemed like a good bet since NO HIGH RISE BUILDING HAD EVER COLLAPSED BEFORE!!!Eleventy!!11!!!

ok, since RedIbis clearly refuses to answer questions that would confirm or deny his idea that Silverstein made out like a bandit from the WTC insurance claim, can we just answer the questions for him?

1. How much in insurance money has Silverstein collected to-date?

2. What are Silverstein's reconstruction costs to-date?

3. What are Silverstein's leasing costs to-date?

4. What were Silverstein's income projections from the original WTC to-date?

Are you being intentionally obstinate?

1. Answered multiple times in the thread
2. That which he is now resposible for has been answered earlier in the thread.
3. He paid off previous debts with the proceeds. He's not continuing to pay the PA for leases on the old WTC.
4. You can calculate them into infinity, assuming they would stand that long, but it really has no bearing calculating the proceeds versus his investment.

Thunder, you've done everything except the research. You have not read through the numerous articles I've posted in this thread, and the information which can be obtained through some easy searches.

And RedIbis has still provided no evidence whatsoever to show that Silverstein has "made out like a bandit." What a huge freaking shocker.

Most of your questions have been answered in this thread and with the articles I've linked to.
Ah, the old RedIbis "I already answered that" lie he falls back on when the heat in the kitchen gets too hot.
