You're a non-Christian playing the role of a mean Christian just to make Christians look bad (which is not really something I'd condone, but I know a lot of people do it).

Or you're actually a Christian, in which case my original question stands:

Do you consider the above taunting episode to be an example of the way a Christian should behave, and therefore something you're proud of? Or is it one of those occasional lapses?

Yes, we have a better understanding of how this irrationality developed so universally in humans. Research evolutionary psychology and cultural memetics.
Of course, you'll dismiss those areas of research...which ironically, is expected that you would. The mechanism is working just as it should . You'll no doubt remain completely oblivious as to why you have those irrationalities.

Cosmologists and scientists aren't referring to "absolute nothing." That's what theists do. We simply don't know the nature of reality "pre" big bang.

Higher dimensional theories seem to suggest "membranes", quantum cosmology has countless alternate universes, whatever.....the point is...at least it's the first "baby steps" in trying to understand the universes origin.

Theism bypasses all that and just goes straight to a homunculus answer...
...which is no answer at all. It just obfuscates and muddies the waters without adding anything of value.
