Just to point out, i'm anti-israel in the sense that I believe israel should stop building more settlements, and in economic and social terms i'm quite left-wing, but I don't believe islam deserves any special treatment. So, no.

But even if so -- whose fault is it? Well, Israel's assault might have something to do with 10,000 rockets randomly fired at Israel in the last decade from there. Why? Because according to Hamas, all of Israel is an Islamic waqf and the very presence of Jews anywhere there is punishable by death.

If the number of casualties is the determiner of morality, then the USA and GB were in the wrong during WWII because they killed more Germans than the Germans killed of their citizens.

But Germany was in the wrong because it started a war of annihilation against GB and the USA (among other nations) -- which is precisely what Hamas declares, repeatedly, is its goal against Israel.
