Merged Skeptics vs. Knowers/Believers

With "their" affinity of stone carving maybe the answer to the "looking up" would be a nicely carved 10km asteroid thrown down onto London?:)

How do I need to alter my 'idea' so that it becomes a theory?

you start with a hypothesis, such as "I saw aliens" and then look for supporting evidence from other sources relevant only to the specific event.
Then when you have that evidence you formulate a theory that explains it, thats why yours will never be a theory, its hypothesis has no reliable evidence supporting it. its an anecdotal report and thats all it will ever be. Nothing you have ever said about ancient aliens supports your claim or makes it stronger either, that all just makes you sound like a kook which makes your statement seem even more unreliable, without at least time travel and a video camera, you might as well forget it and get on with your life.

As Marduk said. Simplified, you formulate an hypothesis, then you attempt to provide evidence for it , to falsify it. Note that we said provide evidence *FOR* it, providing evidence *AGAINST* a concurring theory only falsify the concurring theory, it does not consolidate your own theory.

Which video are you referring to?

the first one is two Eurofighters which did a high speed pass during the royal wedding and the second is faked

well done, in one fell swoop you have proven the existence of the R.A.F and shown that UFO film is often deliberately hoaxed to fool the gullible

;)

How did you arrive at those conclusions?

Sorry to butt in, but I have to point this out...

KotA; if the lights you saw were turning corners, then they did not have constant velocity, although they might have had constant speed.

Velocity is a vector quantity, representing both speed and direction. Even if the speed remains constant, when the direction changes, so does the velocity.

Not terribly important and I'm sure we all know what you mean anyway, but...well... :)

I have to admit, initially I thought you were having a laugh . . . . until your follow up posts.

:jaw-dropp

You're not seriously claiming these are ET, or even UFO, are you?

you can tell its E.T. and not KotAs patented first lost culture of non alien aliens
Extra Terrestrials always try to hide their craft by designing them to look like blimps and then attach a strobe light for extra effect.

I'll concede that.

What I meant to say was they made 90 degree turns while maintaining their speed.

The did not slow down, bank, or arch to turn...
