Merged Obama Birth Certificate Released

Back on topic and to the question of whether Obama had to go above the law to put his long-form birth certificate out there (and not just to access it)--there is an interpretation of the law that says he did.

Quite literally, in order to release this document, the President had to ask to be treated as being above the law, even if it is a relatively trivial law in the grand scheme of things. Quite understandably, the State of Hawaii decided that this was a wise idea. That so many are prepared to insist that the President had an obligation to ask that he be treated as above the law from a very early date is far more troubling.

I take this to mean that despite the fact that Obama was born in Hawaii, no evidence ever presented will ever be enough for you to accept it. In short, no evidence can change your mind.

In the spirit of Birtherism I've decided to believe that all photographs on the internet are faked....including ones I took with my own camera.
 
Of course, the Republicans are not happy with Obama because he released the long form birth certificate. He should be working on important matters, not running a side show. Poor Obama can't win.

Especially since, in the May 2001 announcement that photocopies of the long form were no longer to be issued, just computer-generated abstract short forms, the Director of the Department of Health at the time cited "statutory restrictions" as the reason for the change.

Clearly a fake. I don't remember a May 16 in 2001.

This makes no sense. The Obama campaign complied with the request to provide a certified copy of his birth certificate before the election.

Do you mean why did it take so long for him to accede to the irrational demands of people making completely irrational and baseless allegations? Frankly, I'm still not sure why he bothered doing this at all.
