News to me, as the Babylonian culture used Cuneiform for all their writing so wouldn't have known what an "A" was if it kicked them in the ass

With a name like Marduk I'd have expected you to know that Akkadian did in fact have a vowel pronounced like an "A". Akkadian is the only semitic language that does actually include vowel sounds in the written form. So a Babylonian would have recognised an "A" sound no matter where it kicked them. This isn't, of course, to say that the website under discussion isn't a total load of horse's danglies.
