It turns out that the actual number is 3%, a mere rounding error of 87%. But it was presented to the American people and enshrined in the Senate Record as a means of arguing that Planned Parenthood should be entirely defunded in the current budget.

Is this what Republicans have to do to win now? Spread a bunch of complete bald-faced lies that have never been anywhere near a fact and hope that a bunch of lazy brainless idiots believe them and vote GOP?

That's really sad. But it's even sadder that only people like Stewart and Colbert are pointing this out.

Yes, this is exactly what republicans have been doing since Reagan. This is why they attack intellectuals - as if being smart is abad thing. Of course this is nothing but another example of the stupidity/hypocracy of republicans since just about evey founding father would today be labeled an elitist berkley/cambridge intellectual, yet they're held up as the end all and be all - even when they're wrong.

It's also the weapon they use. Why do you think that most red states have generally lower educated people who make less money and consistantly vote against their own interest.

As I see it, what Kyl does/did is different than being a devious liar or prevaricator who thinks we are all stupid and gullible. His kind is more dangerous than that.

I did; 330,000 abortions divided by 3% = 11,000,000 which is the number of patient visits PP handles in a year.

So, not wrong, just the usual bs.
