I deny it. Now, when will you deny defending Hamas?

I have never defended Hamas or their terrorist acts.

I have, however, called for the leaders of Hamas to be arrested and tried for war crimes at the Hague. Something you have never done.

Why is that?

Hamas seems to be following their usual modus operandi: fire rockets in escalating quantities at Israel, and then, when they sense a serious reply is coming, "declare" a ceasefire. Then the usual idiots will claim Israel is the "agressor" for "violating" the ceasefire.

By the way, look how quickly the usual idiots take Hamas' claim that it "didn't target schoolchildren" just because it fired at a schoolbus at face value, while refusing to believe Israel when it said the same, no matter what evidence it provided, because of the now-discredited Goldstone report.

By the way, look how quickly the usual idiots take Hamas' claim that it "didn't target schoolchildren" just because it fired at a schoolbus at face value,..

again, Hamas is notorious for claiming responsibility for their brutal attacks, and even the attacks of other groups. they are not known for expressing regret.

By the way, Thunder, I'm still waiting for your apologies concerning:

1). Your statements about how evil Israel is based on the Goldstone report (or rather your retraction of them).
2). Your false statements concerning the "Nakba" law.

Apologize, please.

I never made such a statement. Please don't lie about my statements.

2). Your false statements concerning the "Nakba" law.
Apologize, please.

my "false statements" were due to you posting erroneous information.

like I said, I shall never again take information you post at face value. I apologize for believing the information in your post. It shall NEVER happen again.

I accept switzerland is the country of swiss people, but new citizens are considered swiss citizens.

But Israeli Arabs or new immigrants (whatever their religion) are considered citizens!

Imagine, if you will, that Swiss had been expelled from Switzerland, lived 2000 years in exile hoping to return, and finally (some of them) did. Would you not say that this Switzerland is the state of the Swiss in general, even those who in the 2000 years Switzerland did not exist had a different citizenship?

its a nationality not a religion/ethnic group. And in Israel it looks like being jewish is more important than being Israeli citizen, i think that is wrong.

But Judaism is also a nationality, not just a religious/ethnic group (people of all ethnicities can become Jews, while it's impossible to become ethnically Chinese, say, if you weren't so born). It is also the Jewish nation. The conversion process to judaism is traditionally quite similar to modern oath-takings by new citizens, by the way...

But again: that Israel recognizes itself as a Jewish nation violates nobody's rights. It does not forbid non-Jews from becoming Israeli citizens.

ok its only normal that Tax money shoeldn't flow into flag burnings.
But i have some trouble that arab groups get singled out.

Arabs aren't singled out. The law doesn't mention "Arab" or "Jew" at all. More important is the issue of fairness. In fact the same law is quite careful to deny funding, under the same terms, to those who "deny the democratic nature of the state" or "call for racism" -- crimes which de facto Jews are far more likely to commit than Arabs, much like Arabs are much more likelyh to de facto call Israel's formation a "disaster". So if there is "singling out", this law is careful to "single" out both groups in turn.

its just that making a difference between Arab israeli and Jewish Israeli. They are Israeli citizens, laws should be for Israeli citizen. oh well my opinion at least.

There are two conflicting duties here. Would you agree that it is important for, say, France, to keep the French language, tradition, or history alive -- even if French citizens from Morocco find it harder to find them relevant, and it somehow makes a "distinction" between ethnically French and non-ethnically French citizens? Yes, it is important. Does this give France the right to deport all non-ethnic French? No. A balance must be struck, which will not be the same in all places.

Hamas is notorious for claiming responsibility for their crimes.

They are NOT, however, known for expressing regret.

Okay, you are quite welcome to believe that Hamas are truly sorry for their heat-seeking missile hitting a school bus.

However, open declarations of your gullibility are not sufficient to convince others. I just hope you realize that.

And it wasn't a Qassam they fired at the school bus, it was an anti-tank missile.

But Israeli Arabs or new immigrants (whatever their religion) are considered citizens!

Israeli law forbids Palestinians who marry Israeli citizens from becoming citizens of Israel.

Imagine, if you will, that Swiss had been expelled from Switzerland, lived 2000 years in exile hoping to return, and finally (some of them) did.

strawman. Jews were not "exiled" from Palestine for 2,000 years. Jews have always lived in Palestine, even after the Jewish Wars against Rome. The Jewish population of Palestine always numbered in the thousands. There was never a time that Jews were forbidden from living there, and Jews constantly migrated in and out of the land. The fact is, that for the most part the Jewish "exile" from Palestine was in indeed self-made. WE could have attempted a mass-migration back to Palestine, but we simply chose not to.

But Judaism is also a nationality, not just a religious/ethnic group (people of all ethnicities can become Jews, while it's impossible to become ethnically Chinese, say, if you weren't so born). It is also the Jewish nation.

yeah, than why does Israel forbid certain Jews from making Aliyah? a nationality is not something that can be given up, not even by choice. and yet, Israel forbids Jews from making Aliyah if they believe in Jesus.

Arabs aren't singled out. The law doesn't mention "Arab" or "Jew" at all.

No, but Israeli law provides all sorts of benefits to folks who immigrate under the Law of Return, and ONLY Jews can immigrate under the Law of Return. This law in fact gives more benefits to Jewish immigrants than to native-born Arab citizens.

Nevermind the fact that Israel has instituted a whole series of laws clearly made to discriminate against Arabs. It is not possible for an Israeli citizen or Permanent Resident to sue for lost property in Israel, for property lost between 1948 and 1967. However, it IS possible for an Israeli citizen or Permanent Resident to sue for lost property in East Jerusalem or the West Bank, for property lost during that same time period. Why? To allow Israeli Jews to get back property confiscated by the Jordanians between 1948 & 1967, but to prevent Arabs from getting back property confiscated by the Israelis during this same time period.

Somehow it's Israel's fault, though..

why do you believe that this terrorist attack was Israel's fault?

Its very sad that you would blame Israel for a terrorist attack upon its civilians. Do you perhaps believe this was an "inside-job"?

Fixed that for you. The Kornet uses a laser marking system during daylight. Oh, and of course the operators knew the bus was a school bus.

Hamas is known for always taking credit for their attacks, and even taking credits for other group's attacks.

they are NOT, however...known for expressing regret for attacks.

therefore, I'd like to see evidence that they knew it was a bus full of children and targeted it anyway.

How long are you going to continue defending Hamas and their terrorist attacks?

How long are you going to continue defending Hamas and their terrorist attacks?

how long are YOU going to continue to lie about my ideas and opinions?

is lying about your opponents the only strategy you have left?

and for the record, I never have and never will defend Hamas or their attacks upon civilians.

I call upon their leaders to be arrested by Israel or the EU or NATO, and brought to The Hague for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

any accusation that I support or defend Hamas or their terrorist attacks upon civlians is a complete lie...and everyone at JREF (except for our 3 or 4 Neo-Zionists) will acknowledge this.

Hey, he isn't just defending Hamas. He is also attacking Israeli immigration law, despite the fact that other countries have similar laws, which he cares nothing about. Israel's immigration laws are uniquely evil; Hamas shooting at schoolbuses -- meh, and, besides, the poor dears didn't really mean to do it.
