After the show Herring filmed himself speaking to the protestors and said he plans to use the footage as an extra on his forthcoming DVD.

I honestly went when one of the protestors compared his routine to child abuse:

I said that maybe they shouldn't judge something without seeing it first. One of them said, "Have you ever seen a child being abused?"

I had to admit that I hadn't.

"But you still think child abuse is wrong. You don't need to see it to know that it is evil."

Such a spectacularly flawed piece of logic it almost seems like an atheist's strawman of Christian logic.

Is that more of an exaggeration than the bloke from the Scottish Comedy Agency comparing the protesters to al-Qaeda? I'd say both are nothing but empty hyperbole.
