The Palin Doctrine :)

Yep....and so trivial, small minded and boring.

But please keep the hatefest going.

I read the article, and I can't figure out what the "Palin Doctine" is. Please tell us what it is. Refusal of this request will raise suspicion.

I have an even better idea. Why don't you actually read the article which I pointed out was misrepresented in the CNN link by Tricky. You know, the source of the phrase "Palin doctrine"?

Then we can discuss things better, right? Because I don't have much of an agenda here, I only pointed out the misrepesentation, the lying, the typical spin and so forth.

Wait...no, don't bother because the thread is really just another Palin bashing thingie, isn't it?

So you don't know what it means. But that doesn't stop you from telling other people that they're wrong with what it means.

Nice tactic that, refusing to make any claim but 'you're wrong', and then refusing to support that.

Which point is a lie, and why is it lying? What is the Palin Doctrine?

When you have someone who belittles scientific research without finding out the research has benefit to farmers I will have a problem with it. When someone travels to a foreign land does not know you might have cross a border to get to the destination then again I will have a problem with it. When she spouts something that is completely wrong how the space program alone in Russia brought the soviet union and not the overspending in the military in both the USSR and USA during the 80's then again I will have a problem with this individual.

When a person can not get one show renewed on a network that is aligned to her politicaly I would have second thoughts on her being a media darling outside her sphere of influence.

The problems of the world can't be fixed with a simple sayings like "don't retreat just reload" sometimes you have to retreat and get reenforcements or repairs or supplies for the next round.

In what respect, Charlie?

I am betting the Palin Doctrine is for Sarah to makes as much money as possible from books, Lectures, and TV shows while the making is good.

I would bet that this is motivation of most of the presidential field. Of course, some of them will have other options available when this gravy train drys out.

I'd actually be more interested in discovering what the Obama Doctrine is.

I actually think most of the contenders have some desire for the office. Palin I get a feeling is just using her possible candidacy to keep her asking price for lectures up....

No, I only suggested you read the original article, in which the term was originated, as I did, before making comments in the thread which basically show ignorance.

That's all. I have no interest in redefining or over defining the term other than noting how it was in the original source.

You've ducked and dodged my comment as to method, yet I provided the reference to the source. The CNN article which Tricky linked to mis represented the source.

Nothing complicated here.

So you tell people that their interpretation is wrong, but won't give your own? And you say, I'm ducking and dodging?

What makes you think I, or the other people struggling with the actual doctrine, haven't read the article?

You've not defined it in the first place, so there isn't any 'redefining' or 'over defining' requested. The 'side with freedom fighters' is just too stupid to be a doctrine.

Nothing complicated. People read the article about the "Palin Doctrine," and laughed because the article didn't describe what it is and there doesn't appear to be any such thing. Won't you laugh too?

Rule 1 of the Palin Doctrine: You don´t explain about the Palin Doctrine.
