didnt ya go to that building that linda brookhart took that pic of the e4b? i read somewhere awhile back that you did. anyway, i looked at that building and there were only 2 corners that had the same characteristics as her photo.
what kind of direction and/or flightpath did you find with regards to both corners?

The SW corner was consistent with her departure from the Old Exec building and the flight path of VENUS77 which departed Andrews AFB after the Pentagon event.

I can't take it Reheat. I feel a ban at ATS coming on. I remember that night at the Memorial opening (I think you were there too weren't you?) when I saw Zoe's marker. For the first time, all of this research became real and a 6'4" 250 pound man cried like a baby and I could not control it. Darn no-planers just :rule10 me off to no end :mad:

How in the heck do you think I feel over there? It must feel like trying to swim up stream in a river of poo! I have trouble and take a lot of breaks...

However, I think they are on the run in those two Pentagon threads. Once those fade away I'll be away for a while. I could use some help as I'm vastly outnumbered. It will only last for a little while longer.....

Ok, thanks. I do believe there's enough already. It's been silent in both threads for quite some time now. Perhaps they are thinking it over, if that's possible.....
 
For what it's worth 7777 is reserved for interceptor aircraft on active air defense missions. I can't see that an E3 would ever squawk that code. Is it possible that rather than being a reference to the aircraft's transponder code it was shorthand for saying it was deploying on an air defense mission?
 
Just an FYI, we think we've picked up a lead on the second E3. It will be a few days before I have time to track him down on radar, but looks like he headed towards the Chicago area at this point.

I wonder how many AWAC and Nimrod where airborne over the UK when 7/7 happened! Just being in the air isn’t necessarily linked to anything but just being in the air? Is it so unusual for there to be any number of such aircraft in the air on any given day at any given location? How many are in the air now over UK and USA? Does that indicate that some 757's are about to strike? I would be more concerned if none where airborne!
 
Nothing significant at all. We are just pinning down historical details.

There is, of course, a major difference between "any given day" or "now" on one hand, and "9/11/2001 1430 UTC" on the other: At the latter point in time, all air traffic over North America and the Atlantic was in the process of getting grounded, with the exception of those military aircraft scrambled or diverted to respond to the emergency.

Personally I try not to get too involved in the "discussions" over there, merely standing on the sideline and stepping in to shoot down any particularly silly argument. Because if I do get involved, the discussion will inevitably end up being around some incredily minute detail.

Most of the users on ATS (with a few exceptions) are so deep into woo, that nothing you say or do will sway their opinion. In my opinion, the only difference between ATS and Ickes place, is that ATS have the odd truthers ready to shoot down the most hardline stuff (DEW, Nukes & stuff like that).

ETA: In short, treat it like an asylum. If you find yourself getting too worked up over a thread, close the browser, go outside and enjoy the sunshine.

I agree. My point was that I see no anomaly whatsoever as to why we should see such aircraft airborne at such a time. Any confusion at to the 'time' being indicated i.e 'Zulu', 'UTC', 'GMT' etc is mute. It would concern me if they wernt airborne, regardless of what was happening.
