He's trying to insult me personally. Trouble is I never claimed to be an expert and I merely commented on the light color of the blast. And it was before the closeup was available showing the flash at the onset of the explosion which looked like something flammable was involved.

I remember vividly the photos of families sitting on piles of rubble a week after the earthquake, waiting for assistance in finding their family members.

I don't know what all those 'volunteers' were doing. Where and what are those masses of volunteers doing now. Please tell me.

I will assume you're intelligent enough to work out the difference between three months of volunteer relief work organized in the wake of the 1995 quake and reaction to an earthquake which occurred yesterday for yourself.

Our media are reporting that the explosion was caused by the radioactive gas they've been venting to try and lower pressure inside the reactor, and that after the explosion radiation levels outside the reactor actually dropped.

Looking at some of the photos and stuff I think my first reaction is How the **** do you clean this up? The scale of destruction is insane.
