Is Obama planning to attack Saudi Arabia?

A disclaimer up front is that this is just a very speculative conspiracy theory I came to think of. Anyway, could Obama be planning to invade Saudi Arabia in order to secure that nation's dwindling oil resources?

Well the short term disruption would mean the economy would crash and Obama loses his reelection bid. And then you have to consider that it wouldn't really save any money and might be more expensive.

But what made me wonder was things like this:

"Saudi Arabia unrest: a blogger's view

How worried is the Saudi government about the unrest filtering through from surrounding states – and what happens next?
...
Finding itself surrounded by unrest in Bahrain and Yemen, the Saudi government was on its toes, fearing that its people might soon catch the protest bug. Sure enough, that's exactly what happened. With protests in the Eastern Province and Riyadh last week, the regime had to respond quickly."

Doesn't that smack of CIA/MI6 infiltration?

Yes, it's all true. Even as I write they are sneaking in tons of thermite. When they ignite it the sand will melt into a solid lump of glass and the oil will be out of reach.
But, here's the twis it's not the US Govt that is doing it, it's a mystery group. Obama will be forced to cover it all up by getting the CIA to show a film of an animated aircraft crashing into an oil refinery in the desert. If that isn't done then society will collapse and we will have to go back to a time when everything was made from wood and cost a shilling and you couldn't get the parts.

lol. The reality however is that Saudi Arabia probably has entered a decline in oil production. The U.S. government and many other governments who are dependent on Saudi oil must be very worried. Media promotes the idea that Saudi Arabia can increase their production if need be. That may be a false view. For example, take a look at:

'Jim Rogers: "Saudi Arabia Is Lying About Being Able To Increase Its Oil Production"

Jim Rogers joins Zero Hedge in being highly skeptical about just how credible Saudi's call for a 1MM + boost in its oil supply is: "Saudi Arabia has been lying about the reserves for decades. Saudi Arabia the last two times said they are going to increase production and they couldn't increase production. Don't fall for that. The reason oil is going up is the world is running out of known reserves of oil."'

If Saudi Arabia descends into turmoil then it might happen. But, believe me, Obama really doesn't want to have to do that. I'm sure he is praying every night that there isn't a revolution in Saudi Arabia. If there is then his options range from bad to terrible. All will entail massive costs and will certainly send the economy into a tailspin.

And...come 2013 we get to watch the inauguration of President Palin.

"'Day of Rage' Planned for Saudi Arabia

Activists are using the Internet to urge Saudis to take to the streets on Friday for an anti-government "Day of Rage" rally.

The call comes after a Saudi ban on protests that was announced earlier this month. The government enacted the ban after several small groups of demonstrators gathered to demand change in the conservative kingdom.

Large opposition rallies are very unusual in Saudi Arabia, but several thousand people have joined Internet groups calling for Friday's protest in the capital, Riyadh. Organizers say they will use the rally to call for major political and social change."

If there is a local revolution in Saudi - the new government will continue to sell oil as Saudi like all the rest of the Arabia peninsula cannot feed themselves. The west keeps a six month oil reserve while most of those countries keep only 3-6 weeks of food reserves.

But I suspect that the protests around the Muslim countries have been planned and organized by western governments. And Saudi Arabia may be one important key in the whole plan.

I think Obama wants to move in NATO military forces into Saudi Arabia.

"Saudi police open fire at protest in east of the kindgom following warning

CAIRO — Saudi police have opened fire at a rally in the kingdom's east in an apparent escalation of efforts to stop planned protests.

Government officials have warned they will take strong action if activists take to the streets after increasing calls for large protests around the oil-rich kingdom to press for democratic reforms."
