Merged Their Return

Why? If you say ridiculous things to people that you know think they are ridiculous, what else would you expect? Why bring nonsense to a site for skeptical discussion? Why are you not on a MUFON site or somewhere you would be received sympathetically, if a sympathetic reception is what you want?

Translation:

"You should expect to be made fun of, we are skeptics."

And thank you for again helping me make my point. HERE ridicule and mockery masquerade as intellectualism.

I'd talk to myself, if I were looking for total agreement...

And how WOULD we go about showing that we have abandon religion and embraced science, if not to unit under the sky, in a secular global manner and invite the gods to come out from behind the mist AT THE OLYMPICS???

I think I WILL add the fossil fuel thing, though...

So now we've got:

-"a moment skyward"

-reverting back to the bronze age

-flaunting our whores

-ending civilization

-STOP using fossil fuels

...?

I just made the connection:

Olympics> Mt. Olympus> Home of the Gods

They WERE to those who wrote down the tales...

You mean you actualy believe the hydra, medusa, etc. were real?
You actually believe Jesus walked over the waters and stuff?
You actually believe Hercules raised the Earth on his shoulders?
You actually believe in the universal flood?

Those ancient people never created fiction?

It must be nice & easy to live in a world where it is common practice to just ignore findings and historical evidence that conflicts with your stance.
Like the one you built for yourself?
Where evidence against beliefs in hidden civilizations, Atlantis, etc. is thrown down the drain?

I believe those are tales that have outgrown their original characters...

WHATever built Puma Punku is GONE.

Nope, if you had restricted yourself to mere speculation, honestly presented as such, instead of sneakily trying to enlist people in this really rather silly stunt of yours, I imagine you would have gotten a good-humored conversation.

But if you insist on this "Chariots of the Gods" stuff (which isn't even original), you need to expect not to be treated as if you have something serious to say.

And, I repeat, why are you not on some UFO forum where people would applaud your flights of fancy?

So, what keeps you from believing the claims about the extraordinary nature of their parents are nothing but "outgrowths" or add-ons by their followers, apologists, whatever, while attempting to give them legitimacy? For example, the Messiah being nothing but a lowly bastard would not sound good to the ears of most people of those times. But give him a fake divine parenthood and a line which can be traced back to David and things can change.

Ever considered how many leaders used excuses such as divine inspiration, divine right and divine origin as backing to their acts and the status quo?

WHATever built Puma Punku is GONE.

Yes. They are dead. Just like the folks who built Machu Picchu. The problem you refuse to face is that your fantasies are mortally wounded when one raises the fact that their tombs were found. And not a single trace of your alleged advanced technology was found with them or where they lived. Not a single bit of steel, vidia, copper wire, NiCd batteries, prosthetics, dental care, glass, etc. The people from their very elite had lots of dental problems!

Face it- You created this thread wishing for support to your World Peace Initiative MkII. The table was turned, the very foundations of your pet project were challenged, crippled, smashed, defeated, beaten, and blasted even when we played by your rules. You could not present a single coherent line of defense. You complained about not receiving serious feedback. This is not true, for you received it. Your points were countered by evidence and reasonings of the reliable kind. All you offered to counter the critics were fantasies about lost golden age civilizations and an alleged UFO sighting over which you built a messy space opera with more continuity problems than Star Trek. Oh, I forgot the "I am the truth" claims and the evangelist language.

I believe deep down you know all this stuff is not real and that you wasted and are still wasting time and energy on it. Time to let it go and grow.

Oh, so ANY notion of equating U.F.O.'s and 'the gods' is not to be treated as serious...?

Thankfully sentiments like yours aren't leading all scientific discovery efforts.

The really funny thing is that 'I' know you are standing in a big puddle of ignorant wrongness, and you think you on some intellectual high ground, above reproach. Attempting to make fun of those who've seen things you have not is the very definition of "ignorance". CONGRATS! Do you want a banner or crown?

Initially I came here for an common explanation for my U.F.O. sighting. I stayed because I enjoy intellectual exchanges with those who, don't agree with me. I REPEAT, if I were looking for total agreement, I'd talk to myself.

I find such statements to be utterly laughable.

I said "WHATever" built that sight is gone, not "whoever"... The 'technology' itself, is gone.

I didn't say I got "no serious feedback". I've made a list of the serious contributions. That said, you need only look to the last remark made by the horse chaser. My conclusion deserves ridicule and mockery...? This isn't "skepticism", it's "IGNORANCE", plain and simple.

And so are the Puma Punkans.

So much for the notion that contact with the heavenly visitors catapults you into the future.

I never postulated that.

I said that whatever accomplished the task is gone, possible 'ascended', but I never mentioned anything about time travel.

Here is exactly what you postulated...

Those are baby steps...

Knowledge of them will catapult mankind forward into an unimaginable future.

The Puma Punkans had "Knowledge of them." did they not?

And what kind of future was in store for the Puma Punkans?

...maybe an ascended one.

The only truth I have ever found is that 'things change'... Were the god(s) to descend, things would indeed change, in ways I can not even imagine.

I personally would have no problem becoming an Earthling, ready to see other worlds, and accept new visitors.

You don't live on the planet Earth? No surprise there.
