The point is that O'Keefe is a career criminal intent on destroying people who oppose him by telling outright, unsupportable lies not supported by reality in any form. O'Keefe does nothing else and suffers from a serious and observeable mental problem.

He is also obviously not much brighter than a bonobo, nor as cute.

That the slimeballs who taped the PP people emulate him suggests that they too suffer from a cognitive deficiency.

Let's see, Dateline and Bloomberg had evidence of a crime and didn't have to edit the tapes or set up dozens of stings to find one employee who screwed up. Dateline and Bloomberg were honest about their findings.

PP already fired the employee and said it would implement new training.

Not a criminal act (although the employee did think she was covering for one)...but an admission that it's procedures were wrong.

No, it was an admission PP wasn't happy with how a single individual conducted herself. Personally, I think the employee should have been given the benefit of the doubt.

But look at the charges in perspective rather than through witch hunter glasses. Some obsessive extremists badgered one employee in one of 820 clinics who probably meant well into saying something wrong.

And people are willing to believe this is evidence PP is promoting underage prostitution? Why would they? Why would that PP worker have not cared about a teenage prostitute? It's not some big for profit corporation. The employees don't have the most glamorous jobs in the country. Most of the employees work there because they care about women's health care.

And people who ignorantly think this is evidence of some sinister organization should be ashamed of themselves. UTTERLY THOROUGHLY ASHAMED! PP has been dedicated to women's health and nothing else for more than 40 years. Screw that extremist right wing Taliban.


Instead of writing that second check I ended up signing up for a monthly contribution on the credit card.

If someone came in and asked me that question, I might wonder about how to keep them strung along until I could call the police. Alternatively, blow them off because I'm scared -- someone into sexual slavery of teens and children probably wouldn't be above nasty stuff.

Tell them to come back later to "take care of it", then call the police and let them wait.

Being very familiar with PP because some of my nurse practitioner friends work there, I can see any one of them stringing the pimp along so they could reach the girls, and once they had the girls alone, they could help them. If you tell the pimp, you can't help, what chance do you have of finding him or the girls?

And yes, making the appointment then calling the cops is a likely action that would happen. What these idiot anti-abortion ideologues don't have a clue about is no one works at PP to get rich. The employees are there because they do care about providing good care to a needy population.

I'll also throw into the mix that insurance companies have always been cheapskate bastards. So, if you were sexually active and did the responsible thing by getting regularly tested for STDs, you definitely didn't want your insurance company knowing about it, especially if you were an unmarried male with a college degree and a low BMI in the Northeast*. Healthcare isn't cheap to begin, especially when you're a graduate student or post-doc.
