Alt+F4,
Maybe Bruce meant all of the large, outside-of-town discos were closed.

Well isn't that what the appeal is supposed to find out? The disco owners and bus operators will testify as to how the system works. I think it's beyond arrogant for people to say they know with 100% certainity there were no disco buses running that night and know with 100% certainity it's impossible to get the city, tourist and disco buses confused with each other.
Obviously there is confusion over the bus issue, if there wasn't it wouldn't be in the appeal.
Isn't that what the prosecution should have investigated before having Curatolo change his story? It seems the only confusion is that the police didn't bother investigating to see whether the buses even ran. Apparently the defense did and now have proof.

I've seen little bars that called themselves clubs. Doesn't mean they are.
Great! Now, do you happen to know how far from Grimana would it be?
I've proven my point to the lurkers and fencesitters.
1. The discos weren't all closed.
2. No one has presented any evidence that there were no buses in that area that night.
Curatolo already admitted to Frank he was wrong about the buses but the prosecution will try to cloud the issue with there were discos open and they were buses in the city, even if the two were not connected and there was no crowd of students getting on the buses to go to a disco.
I think that is exactly what is going to happen. I do think though that the testimony of the bus and disco people will help clear the confusion. I'm sure photographs of the different buses will be shown.
What proof? When did the bus and disco people testify?
Also, please note that on one hand the presence of Curatolo the morning of 2 November can not be confirmed by the statements of Ceccarelli;
the other, the ruling did not consider that the bus service for
dancing that day was not provided (as stated ex 391 bis cpp
the texts and Pucciarini Brughini).

I think Ceccarelli was the kiosk owner who testified that Curatolo was on a bench next to her kiosk when she opened on the morning of November 2.
Does anyone know if Ceccarelli or Rosignoli (another kiosk owner) testifed to whether they knew of disco buses running (or not) the night of November 1 to early morning November 2?
They wouldn't have been able to since the kiosks close at 8 pm.
Perhaps not to direct knowledge of seeing (or not seeing) buses themselves.
Rosignoli testified to the general time that the buses for the discos are at Piazza Grimana (between 23:00-23:30) but I do not know if he was asked directly about buses for November 1-2.
It would be a beautiful thing if after Amanda and Raffaele are released the three families forgive eachother, realize who is to blame and join forces to sue the PANTS off of everyone involved in the debacle. ALL of them !
