Ok, if she is innocent, then hasn't everything that Mignini said about her been horribly disrespectful. So in a way, the court has been horribly disrespectful to her. Matter of fact everything the court/prosecution has done has been horribly disrespectful to both Sollecito and Knox. All the stuff that was said about them, all the proven lies that was said about them, all the personal details that was leaked about them. All of that, the judicial system did to both Knox and Sollecito. Yet its horribly disrespectful to wear that t-shirt.

All they need to do is demonstrate reasonable doubt that the bra clasp DNA got there by contamination and there's a mountain of evidence in their favour.

Yes, that was kind of like playing with matches when you've been soaked in kerosene. The whole world is thinking she's a narcissistic sociopath and she shows up in a British Invasion era band rock-n-roll t-shirt for court. Even worse was her taste, she could have picked something from The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Stones or Black Sabbath.

Okay, maybe the last two would have gone over worse, but if she was going show defiance or individuality, at least those might have given her the satisfaction of perhaps seeing Mignini spill his coffee in his lap in his haste to cross himself. But something from the Beatles? Especially the mindless pop era before they partied with Dylan? My mom listened to that crap!

Which just suggests to me she wasn't very good at being bad, maybe she was a nice girl after all.

No, I still think there is too much circumstantial evidence. In addition I don't think the bra clasp is going anywhere. I don't think the defense can prove contamination.

Why does the pro-prosecution side keep flipping the burden of proof to the defense? The prosecution has to prove that contaimination did not occur exclusive of reasonable doubt. That is a standard, I believe, any impartial observer would agree, they cannot meet. It is more than a remote possibility that contamination occurred. Thus as evidence it is bupkis.

In every murder case the prosecution paints the defendent as a horrible murderer, so nothing new here. Leaks also happen in almost ever high-profile case. Find me a murder case where there wasn't lies and misinformation spead.

To me it came off as if she thought the whole thing was a big joke and that she would never be convicted. Notice how her wardrobe and demeanor has changed for the appeal? She got the message, this is for keeps.

Although we have no evidence of it, I agree with another poster who said he might be doing all this pro bono. The amount of publicity generated will be worth more than hundreds or thousands of billable hours.

Unless of course he loses. Then he's pretty much the biggest fool in Italy...

How many other people do you think walked in and out of the court during the trial? That's how a courtroom works. When I was on jury duty the last time I couldn't believe how many people walked in an out of the courtroom while the trial was in session.
