Please, in your own words, describe why it's okay for some religious groups to form religious communities but not this group, which just happens to be Jewish.

once again...you are logically and factually incorrect. Jews only is not a misleading description for a place that only allows Jews. Would it be misleading to describe a restaurant as vegetarian if it did not serve carrots?

Oh, I see. You were comparing them to something warm and fuzzy, like vegetarians. I thought you were comparing them to something nasty, like white racists.

umm, who says its not racist when Muslims and Christians do it? You are the one that is trying to rationalize an inconsistent position.....you can see the problem when its whites only but suddenly the rose colored glasses go on when its jews only.

I can make a distinction between religion and ethnicity. So can you, I guess, it's just that when it comes to Jews you only see the one that allows you to bash the ones you're talking about. Here they're doing something religious, but you focus on their ethnicity so you can bash them as "racist" for it. Elsewhere you want to see them as religious, even the secular ones, when you want to bash them as being "quaintly theocratic."

In the United States we have a tradition of religious freedom that I agree with. I don't have to agree with anyone's religion to recognize their right to practice it, even if practicing it means they feel they should isolate themselves from non-believers such as myself. I don't resent them, I don't take it personally, I just allow them the freedom to do what they want.

Yep. Because I, raised Christian but not Catholic, would not be welcome there.

See, here's the key to distinguishing between religion and ethnicity. When the issue is religious, they're talking about religion. When the issue is ethnic, they're talking about ethnicity. You don't just pick whichever allows you to bash them.

So in this case where it's religious people building a religious community so all the members of this specific religion can live together...can you figure that one out on your own?

Maybe you will learn to follow my example of religious tolerance. The whole idea is that not everybody has to live like you sharing your beliefs. They're free to live the way they want, living by their own beliefs.

Tolerance. It's not just a good idea, it's the key to peace.
