The 100% Impossible 9/11 Inside Job

yes, of course... what i mean is that, there is an inside job...

I for one would require extraordinary evidence that 9-11 was an inside job, especially considering the HUGE amount of evidence that supports the common-held narrative. I have not seen any. Other than vague, "they're certainly capable of it" arguments, do you have any evidence?

Is it possible that the mastermind(s) of what would be the largest and most complex conspiracy in history not have at some point said, “Y’know, there’s way too much that can go wrong here. Why don’t we just plant some bombs on a few high-visibility targets, plant a couple bodies as evidence, and do some follow-up messages to the world’s media? It would take only a half-dozen guys, tops.”

This is a good point, because it is exactly what al Qaeda did.

When the planners originally brought the idea to bin Laden, it called for acquiring military planes and flying them into buildings, IIRC. bin Laden said, "Why make it so complicated? We've got all these airliners flying around, let's just hijack a few." This little change probably cut the complexity of the plot in half, thus greatly increasing the chances of success.

This is exactly why al Qaeda is such a successful terrorist organization; unlike the governments they are fighting, they are lean and mean. They don't have to form committees and sub-committees to argue for hours on end over which color font to use in their memorandums. They don't have to involve as many people...which is good, because one thing they apparently don't teach their operatives is how to hold up under interrogation.

Most of all, the advantage they have over their more civilized opponents is that they have no moral scruples, something truthers appear to believe is true of everyone.

Well, at least the US government. I don't know if truthers believe Al Queda has moral scruples or not, or if they're just incompetent, but truthers for whatever reason seem to deny any possibility AQ could have pulled 9-11 off.

"They're just a bunch of rag-heads in caves!"

Ummmm, you're wrong. ;)

Here at JREF, which you're probably well aware of at this point, the burden of proof is always on whoever they have labelled a Truther, even if they start assinine threads such as this.

Both truther or rational propositions require evidence. Bummer when you believe by faith but don't have the evidence.

Even if it means proving that a 9/11 conspiracy (in whatever form) is not impossible. Oh, btw, you're damned if you do, and damned if you don't, because here at JREF they also beleive that a low probability equals an impossibility.

Whereas in trutherland they also believe that a low probability equals a certainty.

Scientific events are universal and propositions can be tested.
Historical events are singular and cannot be repeated.
Therefore, for singular events one proportions one's belief to the evidence (Hume).

The commonly accepted narrative of 9/11 is integrated, and validated by the proportion of the evidence.

OMG! So Microsoft did 9/11?!?!?!!!!1!!111!!!#@!!!2 :jaw-dropp

Yes. They even put a super secret code in their old WingDings font, remember that?

The whole operation was sponsored by Microsoft so they could use the military to forcibly open new markets for Windows. Like when Commodore Perry opened Japan to outside trade.

But in order to cover up the nefarious sponsorship of the then richest man in the world, they devised a clever misdirection to make people think it was all about an oil pipeline, which was itself covered up by the supposed threat of Saddam's WMD, which was cloaked within the idea of the War On Terror.

But in the end, it was all about Windows, man. Windows. Think about it. I bet all those new schools we built in Afghanistan aren't running on Macs!

Funny thing is...this is a more coherent synopsis than anything a truther has ever put together.

:D

A plan carried out by 19 terrorists who had nothing to lose. If they succeeded they would have their 40 virgins. If they failed, they would still have their 40 virgins. Different mindset to those of us who go about our daily lives and who arnt influenced by extreme hatred and extreme religious beliefs.

Two very simple occurances happened on 911 -

They took a chance at security being lax. It was.

They took a chance that the passengers would be co operative in believing that they had bombs on board. They did!

Simple and very effective.

Military minds would have done it at night. Terrorists do it when they can.

I think many would agree that 911 is a conspiracy. Even in my place they have mentioned in schools and in my class before. 911 is a conspiracy.
Do you know the difference between a conspiracy and a conspiracy theory?

Those that do agree and believe in the rediculous theory of an inside jobby are few and far between. A craze instigated by a few drop outs and dead beats and picked at by a few failed architects and crazy radio hosts. It is the very few who sit on their backsides at a computer screen with nothing better to do, no job, dead end job, boredom, over active imagination or mental illness who you copy and paste from. They produce things like red paint as evidence and once shown to be charlatans your movement just brush themselves down and create another fraudulent avenue.

The reality is that the closer that you get to the middle east the fewer believers in an inside jobby you will find. I wonder why that is? My time in Oman, Iraq and Afganistan didnt uncover one truthy. Not one. Go to Saudi, go to Dubai, go to Iraq, go to Yemen, go to Kuwait, go to Afganistan...........very few people will have even heard of your 'truth movement'. Why is that?

Gage, Jones et al and your movement should go to any of the afformentioned countries on a jolly to gather some support. They should be there demanding support for the release of KSM and the return of the good name of Atta and co. Why havnt they?......................Because they are happy for the gullible to wallow in a pit of stupid without raising a finger for truth.

Is 911 conspiracy theory a western thing? Is it primarily a 20 something American thing? Is it just a generation taking advantage of free speach and the internet youtube thing? Is it desperate 50 something hasbeens scratching a living at anything? Whatever it is, it is dying a humiliating death with only the mentally ill and trolls remaining.

Long live the truth movement and its gullible puppets. LOL.

Like, for example, a multi-storey buckle causing a building facade to descend at an acceleration within measurement error of freefall after the plastic hinges have fractured? Or does that come under some special exception that only truthers are allowed to invoke?

Dave

Oh... is that what you believe? That's good stuff.

Anything is better than your lack of hypothesis. Other than believing 9/11 is a conspiracy do you have any running hypotheses? Ones that haven't been put there by toother mind control?

Sorry, but under no circumstance will steel buckle at gravitational acceleration.

It's a good thing then that it didn't. The buckles were created before the fall. You really need to stay in school.

:o

ETA: That was a funny slip, I said "we" created instead of "were".

Did I just admit this out loud?

Is this thing on?

haven't you heard?

there is no difference between an accusation of a criminal conspiracy, such as a terrorist act, the Mob, etc etc....and a conspiracy theory.

if a district attorney charges you with "conspiracy", that makes him a conspiracy theorist.

:D

tempesta, glad you're back!

Are any of your witnesses truthers, except for "Lyin' Willlie" Rodriquez?

Don't you think it's odd that your eyewitnesses for bombs aren't truthers, and don't think there were bombs?
