Hard vs Soft Martial Arts

You don't even have to spar, you can just do the drills, padwork and bagwork to stay in shape.

Sounds good. I think I'll give it a year or two so that I can move into town (waaaaay to impractical for me at the moment, I live in nowhere) and at the same time build up some dearly needed musculature.

Most BJJ clubs will do the same, where you don't have to "spar" if you don't want to. In fact, some of the more traditional BJJ places won't let you spar until you've been there 6 months or so. You'll do drills, learn technique but don't wrestle. Of course, you won't get as good quite as fast (if at all), but you'll get in shape and learn stuff.

This is proof that the many thousands of psychic attacks leveled at Phrost over the years are starting to take their toll. :D

So that's why I keep forgetting where I put my car keys.

Damn astral ninjas. Anyone know the secret jiujitsu kata that defends against that?
