Just because an individual or a group appropriates a nomer for itself doesn't mean that they created it.
Repression is not an active phenomenon. You don't just "decide" to repress a thought, you do it in some unconscious way. I never said that you choose to block an idea, a memory, a belief.
There are no truthers. That is a term invented by supporters of the official narrative, just like the term "Truth movement" itself, as if opponents of the official 9/11 narrative where after some type of ontological quest.
I think that talking, mentioning, discussing the 9/11 events is considered, by some if not all people, as a pathology because it is repressed.
I feel that I "shouldn't" talk about it. I feel shame if I do.
What do most people do when they go through a traumatic experience in life? Their psychological integrity often demands that they make the experience disappear, that they repress it. A dysfunctional family, just as a dysfunctional society, will often shame an individual attempting to bring up the memory. In turn the individual will himself feel shame and ridicule.
Just because an individual or a group appropriates a nomer for itself doesn't mean that they created it.
Then why are many familes questioning why we were so vulnerable, but those same families NOT supporting an inside job conspiracy?

Your question completely misses my point about the unconscious mechanism behind repression.
why are many familes questioning why we were so vulnerable, but those same families NOT supporting an inside job conspiracy? Both scenario's are traumatic. What psychological mechanism are you suggesting can filter out a conspiratorial time line, Yet allow another scenario which subconsciously they do not support take its place?
no. it is YOU who are missing my point, if they were unconsciously repressing the horrors of 911,. they would say nothing at all.

no we don't, You have no evidence whatsoever that victims are subconsciously suppressing anything, Just your imagination. We finally agree.

This thread seems to have run its course
Or it could get back on topic after the mother of all derails.

Truthers will always derail a thread when they're stumped & have nothing of value to offer.
So you're saying TENS OF THOUSANDS of people who were related or very close to someone who was killed, are all collectively having selective amnesia???
This doesn't sound slightly unbelievable?
Not to mention a good amount of those you are talking about are native New Yorkers (and from the NE in general). If you knew anything about "my kind" you would know that if something was fishy, this area would explode with anger. You really think an Irish firefighting family actual thought the towers were "demolished"? You would never hear the end of it, from ALL of them. None of that happens here. In fact, on many occasions, truthers have been attacked by angry family members and firemen for being insulting, obnoxious, moronic, ********.
I'll bet that Quiproquo has never been near New York in his life. Why isn't his handle Quidproquo?
I was going to say that but I didn't want to speculate.
False. There are no truthers. That is a term invented by supporters of the official narrative, ...
