Witness describes explosions at North Tower

Extensive conversation in this thread (you can flip forward and back from there) in which Mark Roberts' site was quoted and it was shown that he was not only misinterpreting quotes but had no sources for some of these quotes and his interpretations.

At the moment prior to the first building collapsing, I remember
hearing popping sounds. One of my partners was saying what’s that? I saw the people
falling and exploding on the ground.
Q: What was exploding on the ground?
A: Human beings. They were just falling from the sky and exploding like
that.
Q: How close were you to these people landing?
A: I would say about 100-150 feet. People coming out of the buildings half
burned, the fuel must have spewed down and hit some people. A lot of burns literally
down through the skin to the bone.

Yeah? And...?
You're not paying attention. We have been trying to tell you for several posts that bodies can sound like small bombs when they splat down.

And the twoofertards like MacQueen see those referrences in soureces like the fire fighters' oral histories and add it to accounts indicating bombs. The boy should go back to the monestary and stay there. He has otlived his purpose.

This is your first relevant reference.

This one

not so much.

Your first link doesn't work.

So you have one firefighter describing the falling bodies as "huge explosions", and another one describing them as "popping" sounds.

You also have other eyewitnesses talking about large explosions. News commentators talking about "another explosion", witnesses talking about explosions below the building floors, some from below the ground, and other firefighters, who also were there, talking about sequential explosions, making no reference to the bodies dropping.

An interesting comment from the Gorman testimony, he talked about meeting a burn victim from the 60th floor. He was "pretty sure" she was from the 60th floor.

We used to throw gobs of wet toilet paper off of the 23rd floor of my friends building. They exploded when they hit the ground. So do beer bottles left in the freezer.

"Explode" is not a qualitative word.

Yes, well, lots of things would explode when they hit ground from that height. I think pumpkins and watermelons would also explode. Do you think they would go "boom" or "bang-bang-bang"? :eye-poppi

This is a stupid question.

They were calling the collapse of the south tower an "explosion" not knowing it was a total collapse.

... witnesses talking about explosions below the building floors...

Like Willie R describing the first backdraft.

some from below the ground...

Like Joe Torres, commenting on the sound coming through the subways as the floors slammed into each other in collapse.

...and other firefighters, who also were there, talking about sequential explosions...

DUHHH! We discussed that already. No fire fighter who was there thinks you have evidence of bombs.

An interesting comment from the Gorman testimony, he talked about meeting a burn victim from the 60th floor. He was "pretty sure" she was from the 60th floor.

Is this supposed to be unusual?

Hi JRED,

Here is a link to a recently released video of a witness describing bombs taking out the floors of the North Tower.

When it comes down to it, there is no need to allude to obtuse and demeaning "irreduscible delusion" explanations to undermine why many people do not believe in the official narrative. Do we believe in what we hear and what we see or do we believe in l-o-g-i-c put forth by you guys?

[excerpt]Would we not expect, however, that a few courageous members of the fire department would have contacted the 9/11 Commission to tell their story? Indeed. But telling their story to the Commission was no guarantee that it would find its way into the final report---as indicated by the account of one fireman who made the effort.

Firefighter Louie Cacchioli, who was quoted earlier, testified in 2004 to members of the Commission’s staff. But, he reported, they were so unreceptive that he ended up walking out in anger. “I felt like I was being put on trial in a court room,” said Cacchioli. “They were trying to twist my words and make the story fit only what they wanted to hear. All I wanted to do was tell the truth and when they wouldn’t let me do that, I walked out.”[/excerpt]

Lefty, your hackneyed bee-dunkerisms are getting pretty tired.

You are entitledto form your own opinions. You are not entitled to pull facts out of your butt.

Most restrauants in NYC have all-gas kitchens, and it is widely used in most large HVAC systems. Got proof they weren't in the WTC?

re-insurance - WTC7 rated Class A building

Wtc7 was rated as a class A building for re-insurance purposes-
NO NATURAL GAS SERVICE ALLOWED - PERIOD !

What do you think restaurants work with?

He's asking one of the most idiotic questions I've ever seen. Large buildings often use boilers for water heating, especially at the scale of what needs to be provided. One of the towers had the Windows on the World restaurant, which used either gas or electric.

Transformers will often blow up if they're exposed to fire conditions. I have no idea why he's focusing just on whether or not the buildings had gas lines, they almost certainly did considering the type of equipment the building's used in their infrastructure. I didn't ask truthers to complain about the existence of gas lines in the towers, I asked them to offer a reasonable account for why the entire array of equipment; gas, electrical, chemical, and otherwise - having any of them contribute to the reports of explosions would be unusual in the first place.

They can't answer that apparently...
