How can we punish the TSA Gate Rapers?

I'm thinking some manner of gigantic penile prosthesis that will show up on their scanners and force them to pat it down? I mean, this new policy is an absolute disgrace and, until smacked down by the courts, deserves the full force of mockery and social rejection that the public can foist upon it.

Some guy has apparently come up with a new type of underwear that the machine can't see through. He's goona be rich!!!

But the people at the gate aren't the ones who made the policy. How does "punishing" them help?

Well, they implement these policies and they are not law enforcement personnel. Yet the implemented policies appear to be contrary to Bill of Rights, and in many cases where the passenger doesn't provide explicit consent legally constitute assault.

Now, consider the charge of assault for a second.

Who would it be leveled against? The perp.

Not the agency. It'd be interesting to hear the arguments made by the TSA attempting to bump the such a case from the local DA and county court into federal court.

Next question?

I think the only thing more over the top than the new pat down security measures are the asinine responses people have had to them.

i plan on strapping a gigantic cucumber to my left leg, next time i fly.
and put two oranges in my pants.

let them feel that.

;)

Yeah: How does "punishing the gate rapers" help with this?

I actually travel by air a few times a year and never have a problem or delay. I'm not sure how this got to be the area where you left-wing tin-foil-hatters finally get on the same pages with the right wing tin-foil-hatters.

Funny how all the "first-hand" accounts always seem to involve some activist going out of his way to create a problem and then complaining about the problem he/she created.

Sometimes crap has to flow uphill. And if the people at the gate quit because of derision and carefully selected slow downs, the crap will flow. The airlines will lose a mint and maybe force TSA to get a clue. Since I don't really care if passenger airlines go the way of the dodo or evolve rationally I do not have a direct dog in the fight, but it really annoys me what with living in the "Land of the Free".

This got sent to me, I find it funny. It is a Japanese show doing a parody about TSA security.

This is a new policy... when's the last time you flew?

Do you think taking nude photos of passengers is acceptable in a free society? Genital groping?

Is there anything you won't give up in the name of security?

The airlines will lose a mint
And this, IMHO, is the only way this policy gets changed. Once the airlines start losing passengers, and the government starts losing the tax revenue that goes with it, then maybe the policy changes.
