I'm amazed that a couple hundred thousand mormons still get the blame for prop 8. in a state heavily dominated by millions of latino catholics.

You shouldn't be amazed. The LDS provided huge chunks (~$20 mil ?) of money and the ground game that got those catholics and black churchgoers into the voting booth.

But if you want to pursue this, we should start a new thread.

Hannity and the Rushblob are doing the public image work for both the teatards and the GOP.

That they do not condemn the baggers while they boost the GOP makes in look like the GOP and their supporters in the mdia like the noise that the baggers make.

Can you explain how this post is in any way related to the post you quoted? My point is that it is unfair to ask the GOP leadership to denounce every bigoted e-mail sent out by a single kook.

If you want to argue that bigoted e-mails sent from address such as @gop.org should be quickly and publicly denounced, I will agree. This particular clown is not affiliated with the GOP and is merely giving his own (narrow-minded) opinion.

In Florida, many Cubans are Republican because they, or their parents and other relatives fled Castro's Cuba. Too bad that Bay of Pigs caper didn't work out, eh?

I could be wrong, but I thought the Cubans were a key swinging voter constituency which is why Cuba still has the insane embargo on it. Since both D's and R's know they will lose those votes if they ever try and get rid of the embargo, neither has the balls to.

I'm fully aware of that. How about "Stay classy teabaggers"? That way it's directed at those deserving rather than many who are not.

I would say the majority of the teapartiers are not deserving of this either. It is an email from a select jerk or two. All parties have some jerks.

Of course, in a rational election system, a few hundred thousand people could not influence more than a half dozen consecutive elections in a country with a population of 300 million. Thanks, electoral college, for giving so much power to a swing state. Oh, and thank you, two-party system, for helping.

After the crap they handed Obama about Alinski and Ayers, I think they had bloody well better police their own back yards.
