A few psychics are battling for business in Pennsylvania and now one is charged by police. Follow the link for the news report video:

It's a sort of Hatfield versus McCoys. Two families. Two fortune telling businesses. Now, a feud has escalated to alleged violence.

Self-described gypsy Jimmy "Cutty" George says he fears for his life and that of his family after Stephen Mitchell allegedly threatened his wife at gunpoint.

"He had a gun and he waved it to her. He said keep the kids off Street Road or I'm going to hurt you," George said.

"If he wants to call it a psychic war, it's on him; I didn't think we had a psychic war," George said.

A woman claiming to be Stephen Mitchell's wife tells Action News the allegations are completely false, but wouldn't be more specific.

Coincidentally, George admits he's currently charged with a similar crime in Egg Harbor.

He's accused of threatening a fortune teller there at gunpoint, but he too, denies the allegations.

Sure, why not. I'll even use fortune-telling to predict it. I did an I-Ching reading and got hexagram 63. Chi Chi / After Completion. There were two moving lines, which I reduced to the third line, which is:

The Illustrious Ancestor
Disciplines the Devil's Country.
After three years he conquers it.
Inferior people must not be employed.

After the lines change the new hexagram is 42. I / Increase. So my interpretation of the lines is that this "psychic war" will simmer down for now. Then, after a certain amount of time, heads are gonna roll.

Who'd have ever guessed that!!!! Brilliant. I'm sure you have dates for this "head rolling" event. Don't you think you should inform the police? If someone gets hurt, and you could have prevented it, I wonder what your liability would be?

If they were really that great of psychics why would they need guns? Couldn't they just send psychic energy at each other?

Prove you are not just guessing!! What is a certain amount of time? Otherwise, your prediction is just looking really silly, just like any other dumb cold reading.

I used a random method to generate the hexagram and the changing lines. I then interpreted them. That's how I-Ching divination works.

Here, I'll do a reading of you to demonstrate further. I have no idea how applicable it is, I just randomly generate a hexagram.

41. Sun / Decrease

THE JUDGEMENT

Decrease combined with sincerity
Brings about supreme good fortune
Without blame.
One may be persevering in this.
It furthers one to undertake something.
How is this to be carried out?
One may use two small bowls for the sacrifice.

THE IMAGE

At the foot of the mountain, the lake:

Then, the changing lines. There were two changing lines of the same kind in your reading. So I reduce to the bottom line, which is:

So, my interpretation of your reading is that there is something central in your life that is decreasing. You may be near a point where a choice must be made and the choice involves others. After decrease and choices comes a splitting apart. Sounds to me like a divorce or something unfortunate like that is going on in your life. But if there are any meaningful coincidences between the reading and your life circumstances then only you are in a position to know.

When I was in Thailand, I saw so many people invest money they couldn't afford in trying to divine the future, and their lives were none the better. It soured me big time on psychics.

I'm not in Thailand and I'm not responsible for any of those people and I don't charge for I-Ching readings. And I'm not a "psychic", so why don't you stick your prejudice where the sun doesn't shine. Now, back on ignore you go.

Who said they can do such a thing? The term psychic is extremely vague and this is why the MDC requires a specific declaration of what you can demonstrate.

Most psychic simply "feel" stuff and can't do any actual effects
(otherwise people would require a demosntration)

Because John Edward isn't a "fraud" in the legal sense of the word. He classifies himself as "entertaiment" just like all of them (who have good lawyers).
